We were attending a wedding on the coast a mile from the cottage and chose to stay at the cottage based on the lovely pictures on the website. The owner made the booking process extremely easy and went out of her way to provide us with directions to the venue. The cottage itself was even nicer than the pictures. It is a beautifully decorated with a great layout. The rooms are large and the place is bright and airy with a long garden. We took my 1 year old son and he had a great time crawling around and enjoyed the toys that were thoughtfully left for children visiting. The road the cottage is on is quiet and peaceful and situated well for local conveniences and a few country pubs. The price was brilliant and we got much more for our money than if we'd stayed at a B&B. The cottage is one mile from the sea and there are steps down to the coast line (top tip...do not attempt to take a buggy down them unless you have good arm muscles!). There is a large Tesco nearby and the local fish and chips were a bonus! All in all a great stay in a lovely home in a great location. |
