This fab detached house is set in a lovely location with stunning views. 5 bedrooms & 3 bathroom, can sleep up to 12 guests. Lovely garden & terraces with woodland to the side & rear. A 10 min short walk into Dogellau & 15 min drive to the coast at Barmouth & Fairbourne.

Big CO-OP store a 2 min drive or 10 min walk. Dolgellau old town is just behind the CO-OP and leisure centre with, Pubs, Cafes, Good restaurants (can recommend several) independent shops and a monthly farmers market. Wednesday Market in Machylleth all year round.

Lots of lovely walks and some dog friendly beaches nearly.

No expense has been spared to make your holiday as comfortable and relaxing. Our property is tastefully decorated and furnished with quality furniture and bedding. It benefits from gas central heating, double glazing, quality flooring, a superb kitchen with a 'range cooker', all appliances, a family bathroom, shower room & one en suite, plus a cloakroom. Guest can relax in one of the two large lounges; there is a dining room with seating for 11 people.

The main lounge over looks the rear garden and patio plus barbecue area with a view of the woodland. SKY & Broadband for your entertainment. We also have a snooker table. Cae'r Dderwen is a much sought after residential location and our property occupies possible the best location, being at the top of an elevated road, with no buildings to the side or rear, enjoying a quiet location with fantastic views. The road ends in a cul-de-sac, so there is very little traffic.

Lounge one: Electric flame effect fire & surround. Patio DG doors to garden, leather seating for 7 people, coffee table, flat screen TV/DVD & VCR.

Lounge two: Seating for 6 people with bookcase.

Dinning Room: With large family table and seating for 11 people.

Kitchen/breakfast room: Comprehensive, quality range of kitchen unit's including a 'gas/electric range cooker, dish washer, American fridge/freezer, Breakfast area with table and chairs for 6 people.

Laundry room: With sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 1: With King size bed, built in wardrobe & en suite bathroom.

Bedroom 2 With King size bed, built in wardrobe.

The North Wales region

Located in The Snowdonia National Park, Dolgellau is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you are looking for. Whatever you're into: fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, mountain biking, bird watching, painting, landscape photography or horse riding, there are endless scenic places to explore.

This region of Wales is without doubt a 'hidden gem' with some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain. This is a walker's paradise with Cader Idris just a few minutes drive away! Snowdon is only 60 minutes by car.

Don't worry if you're not the active type, the flat & effortless Mawddach Trail, featured in Julia Bradbury's 'Great Railway Walks' program, is accessible to everyone and takes you on a journey along one of the UK's most spectacular estuaries, brimming with wildlife.

There are miles of beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches, as well as many local attractions, such as the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway, which steams from Tywyn up to the mystical Dolgoch Falls. Just a few miles away is the stunning Talyllyn Lake. 15 minutes away towards Corris, is the world renowned 'Centre for Alternative Technology' or (CAT) which is a fascinating place to visit and learn. Close to CAT is The Corris Craft Centre and King Arthurs Labyrinth, another 'must visit' place.

Dolgellau

The ancient market town of Dolgellau is situated in the spectacular scenery of Southern Snowdonia National Park. The town is close to Cader Idris Mountain and on the Wnion River, a tributary of the stunning Mawddach estuary. The town has a rich heritage with over 200 listed buildings forming the centre. The community benefits from a great variety of shops, restaurants and amenities within Dolgellau including a doctors, dentists and hospital.

There are good bus services to the other local towns and good local railway connections from Barmouth or Fairbourne along the glorious Cambrian Coastal route. Tourism is an important and growing industry for the area. Cader Idris attracts climbers from all over the UK. Miles of sandy beaches, boating and water sports are close by at Barmouth & Fairbourne. The surrounding area is known for its wild but beautiful countryside and places of historical interest, which provide the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities such as mountain biking, walking, horse riding, fishing, white-water rafting and climbing,

The Mawddach trail was recently featured in Julia Bradbury's ' Great Railway Walks 'documentary. 'Go Ape' have recently opened an outdoor adventure centre at Coed Y Brenin, just a short drive from the centre of the town. Nature Lovers are well catered for here, with the RSPB nature reserve situated in the nearby Mawddach Valley.

The town, with its restaurants, cafes & shops, is just a few minutes' walk away and the beaches in Barmouth and Fairbourne are a short drive. "A well equipped house in a great location"

We stayed here as a large family group, 2 sets of grandparents and 2 families - great layout for bedrooms and the extra lounge meant we could spread ourselves out. Lots of room round the lounge table … More

"Would definitely recommend this house"

We were a group of several families with children ranging from 2 years to 16 years. With a living room upstairs and downstairs there was space for everyone. The house was really well equipped with good quality furniture and kitchen equipment.

Great scenery around the house, and a good base to visit other towns etc.

"Beautiful house, beautiful location"

A very well appointed house. Spacious and very well fitted out. There are lovely views from the house and many things to do in the area. We took 4 young children with us, including one baby. They were very well catered for with a proper cot and high hair and plenty of plastic cups and plates! We had some lovely walks, precipice walk is only a 10min drive away and offers beautiful views. Fairbourne beach was great, the sea was actually warm! The shallow beach means it was great for kids.

"Great house and area to enjoy outdoor pursuits"

Great house for a family especially if you enjoy the outdoors. Beautiful views and lots of places to visit if the weather is good. The house itself is very well presented and practical ( unless you have a problem with stairs) and immaculate.
