Home description

The winter, with mild climate, is ideal for those who like to walk, golfing,(5m walking distance), stroll around, bycicling and visit places of interest :3km from the ancient and lovely city of Tavira, and 25km from the city of Ayamonte (Spanish border). The spanish city of Seville is 50 minutes away by car. From Spring till Autum, you can enjoy baking in the sun on the wonderful sandy beaches of Cabanas, and of course visit plenty places of interest.
For golfers, is a paradise!( very close by, Benamor golf course ). In the village there are many restaurants and bars.
Unless you want to do some trips, car is not necessary. You can always rent a bycicle, for shorter trips.
To go to the city of Tavira, there are buses who go there, as well to Olhão city.

Cabanas is located very close to the ancient city of Tavira: if you want to see it properly, you have to go there several times.

Cabanas is located in "sotavento" of the Algarve: very close to Spain and with warmer sea water.
Spanish border city of Ayemonte is just 20m by car.
Seville is just 45m away by car.

How to get there

From United kingdom and Ireland to Portugal-Faro: by plane / low fare airlines : Easy Jet, Monarch, Ryanair and other known british and irish airlines.,- fly on a low budjet to Faro airport ( Algarve ).

There are many car rental companies: Hertz, Avis, Budjet and many others.

From Faro airport ,there are also buses and trains who come to Tavira city.

Kitchen with all facilities, one bathroom with bath tub, big balcony, private garage. It is located in a private condominium, but very close to Cabanas village, with all bars and restaurants, with very tasty fresh fish.
Close also to fresh fruit and legumes market, super markets, bank and to the fishermen litle boats, who take you to the lovely sandy beach of Cabanas.
FOR GOLF LOVERS: 5 minutes walking distance of Benamor golf courses.
It is very close-3km of the ancient city of Tavira, with so mutch to see!
25km across the spanish border -city of Ayamonte.
You have tennis courts at the next door Pedras da Rainha summer resort.
You can also rent a boat to see the lovely coast of the Ria Formosa.

The private condominium has a small patio and a small garden. It is located next to " Pedras da Rainha "summer ressort. It has also a private garage and a big balcony. At Pedras da Rainha, (next door), you can rent tennis court.

There is a british lady ,who takes care of the apart, waiting for you at the condominium gate, to answer your questions, details of the apart., and of course give you the keys.

For guests who want to rent the whole month of July and August , there is a 10% discount.

To make a reservation, it is necessary to pay in advance 30% of total cost.
Special prices for long winter stays.(more than a month)

The price includes utilities, cleaning the apart. before your arrival , and aftter your departure.
