Snowdonia Cabin is a traditional Norwegian log cabin in the heart of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. The cabin is in Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, a quiet, peaceful but well equipped site surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The cabin sleeps up to 6 people, and is available for weekly rental and short breaks from 1st December to 31st October every year.
Cosy and fully furnished, it's a perfect base for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales. We're just a couple of miles from Coed y Brenin, with some of the best mountain biking trails in Europe. The area is also well known for fishing, walking, wildlife and of course steam trains, as well as spectacular scenery.
You can even bring your best friend - pets are welcome, and from January 2015 you can bring up to 2 of them!.
The site has a shop, information centre, outdoor play area, launderette and enclosed dog walking area. The Rhiw Goch Inn is just a short walk up the hill and has a great reputation for local food in generous portions.

South Snowdonia is a ruggedly beautiful, unspoiled mountain region. The cabin is a great base for exploring the outdoors and sampling some of the region's famous adventure activities. From the highest peaks to the deepest underground caves, there's something for adrenaline junkies of all ages. We're just a couple of minutes from the world-renowned mountain bike trails at Coed y Brenin, and just down the road from some excellent fishing Llyn Trawsfynydd (where a new all-ability walking and cycle path around the lake has just been completed).
Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is a quiet, friendly holiday park nestled in the hills between Dolgellau and Porthmadog. The traditional Norwegian log cabins are all privately owned, and each one is uniquely furnished and equipped. With no street lighting, and therefore no light pollution, it's a perfect place for a spot of stargazing. And you won't just be seeing stars - the site is teeming with wildlife, and you can expect to see rabbits and squirrels right on your doorstep as well as a host of birds on our feeders and the occasional deer.
