About the home

Aviemore is a popular holiday resort located in the Cairngorm mountains in the Highlands of Scotland. Ideal for both summer and winter sports and sightseeing. The scenery is spectacular and the wildlife abundant, as seen on BBC 'Spring Watch'.

The flat is located in the centre of the village within easy walking distance of station, shops, restaurants, bars etc. It sleeps four adults comfortably with the possibility of accommodating two small children.

Also within five minutes walk is a nature reserve, trout lake (where Osprey may be seen) and the newly refurbished Aviemore centre with a super new swimming pool , sauna and other sports facilities.

The Scottish Highlands region

Aviemore has been a popular winter ski resort for several years and also a summer holiday resort.

The climate is cool, being in the north of UK and in the mountains but can be sunny

The scenery is spectacular and wildlife abundant.

History includes famous battles such as Culloden and Killicrankie and of course the famous legend of the Lochness monster!

“Brilliant location for all of Aviemore's attractions” The flat was really easy to find and very close to all of Aviemores attractions. Well within walking distance of just about everything. It was clean, tidy and spacious with plenty of added extras. The owner was very helpful and everything was organised for our stay as promised. Would highly recommend this location!

“Execllent location in Aviemore” We found this apartment when looking for last minute New Years break in Aviemore. Great location, 5 min walk to restaurants ,shops, the train station & the Bridge Inn pub. Plenty of biking from the door and space to lock up bikes if required. Apartment was really comfortable, in a quiet location with everything you need in the kitchen.

“Good location and easy access to some touring/activities spots” The apartment nears train and bus station as well as supermarket. In addition, you can get many information so as to choose your touring or activities at the nearby visitor centre. You just need to walk, you can go to the above places or facilities. The house is clean and tidy. There is oven, microwave oven, heaters and washing machine you can use. In addition, you can park your car beside the building. I like to stay at Aviemore as there is so many activities spots nearby. I enjoyed to have a good holiday with my family over there. I specially recommend small family ( around 4 persons) to rent it as it will be cheaper compared with living at hostel, B & B or hotel.
