Quiet and peaceful, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out and bars also.
The apartment benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning marina and sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double bedroom and one double sofabed, the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

ENTRANCE HALL
Spacious hall with video entry phone, and mirror.
LOUNGE
Spacious lounge dining room 37m2,with 1 ample sofa bed which converts to one double bed for extra sleeping, dining table and 4 chairs, flat screen LCD television, air conditioning unit for cooling and heating, 2 large picture windows over looking the pool and the marina,patio doors to balcony.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with bosch appliances dishwasher, hob, fan assisted oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, saucepans and cooking utensils, fully fitted units and window overlooking swimming pool and marina.
SLEEPING
The sleeping arrangements provided are 1 bedroom with a king size double bed, 1 king size sofa bed in the lounge.
ENTERTAINMENT
The entertainment consists of a HD flat screen LCD television mounted on the wall which receives several english TV channels a DVD player and CD player with radio, Internet Access WiFi (wireless).
BATHROOM
The bathroom has bath with overhead shower, wc, bidet, sink and under sink storage cabinet, shaving/hairdryer sockets, hairdryer, marble counter tops, large wall mirror. All bath towels are provided but we do not provide beach towels.
BEDROOM
The bedroom has a super king size double bed, fitted floor to ceiling wardrobes, chest of drawers with mirror over, bedside tables with lamps, full length mirror, air conditioning unit for cooling and heating, electric shutter for window which overlooks the swimming pool and the marina, patio doors to balcony, security safe.

The former fishing village of Albufeira has expanded since the 1960s into one of the Algarve's major holiday resorts and now has over 16.000 permanent residents. During the summer the old centre of the town with its plentiful collection of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants is filled-up with tourists from all over the world.
Albufeira is surrounded by some of the best known beaches from Praia da Falésia in the east to Praia de S. Rafael in the west. The second fase of the marina is currently being constructed on the west side.
The name of Albufeira goes back to the times of the Moorish occupation Al-Buhera when it became an important trading port in the 8th century.

Every day departuring from the marina you have Boat Trips to the caves along the coast, Fast boat riding, Boat trips to see Dolphins in the sea, Scuba diving, Professional sport fishing and Sailing. Closest beach only 3 minutes away.
Horse Riding, Golf nearby and just 15 minutes away, Beach with lifeguard and just 3 minutes away, Sea / ocean, Tennis, Water sports, Water park nearby.

The nearest airport is Faro being a 20 minute drive away where low cost airlines like Easy Jet, British Airways, BMI, Thompson, Ryan air and Aer Lingus have regular year round flights from the UK available. All can be booked on line and Lisbon is only a 2 and a half hour drive away. We can arrange airport transfers for you where the driver meets you in arrivals at the airport holding a name board, but this service is an extra and is paid seperately and directly to the driver. Or you can hire car to be at the airport for when you land. Although a car is not essential, but I would recommend it to see the sights and places of interest around the area of Albufeira.

We found this lovely apartment on the internet. I then e-mailed the owner Nuno who was very quick to reply to me with the info i required & we booked as soon as we sorted flights. i had contact with Nuno up until we went to Portugal & he was very helpful indeed. We arrived several hours before check in time but Nuno was kind enough to arrange for his wife to meet us & let us into the apartment. She was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was great, spacious, clean, modern & had great views that over looked the marina & the quiet pool area. Nuno also let us stay all day on our last day as they had know one else booked that day. Thank you to Nuno and Ana... who also have a very cute son ;-) Response: Thankyou very much for your opinion in first place. We have stayed in Marina apartment for a week. As soon as we arrived we weren't disappointed. We knew it was an excellent choice. Apartment is looking amazing, modern, spacious, very bright with nice furniture exactly like on pictures. Overlooking Marina with fantastic terrace with table and chairs were we have spent most of our time at apartment. Kitchen well equipped with dish washer, washing machine, microwave, cutlery's. AC working very good. Opposite apartment there is a coffee shop, Barclays bank, beauty salon and minimarket. At Marina few nice restaurants and coffee shops. We can highly recommends to go for a cruise with AlgarExperience company - great day ocean trip with visiting caves as well. Old market is 15 to 20 minutes walk with all restaurants, craft shops, bars has very nice atmosphere. Portuguese are really friendly, helpful people, food very taste, cheap alcohol especially local wines. Prices for a dish from 7 to 14 euro, water 1, wine 1.5-4. Albufeira is a great place for family holiday as well as couples and friends. There is a plenty to see and do. Best beach near apartment is Sao Rafael very beautiful with rocks and cliffs just 20 minutes walk. We will go back next year to Marina apartment!!! We stayed here for a week in August and had a wonderful time. Nuno and his wife are absolutely lovely and very accommodating. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious.
