“Top class Tuscany vacation” We stayed 1 week in Vico Pancellorum and it was absolutely top class! We were there whole family (6 persons), and we all had an exellent time in this beautiful home owned by Karen... the whole setup from Karen is top-class... meaning she has arranged all from the day we arrived with local friendly people who assisted us ll the way! the local restaurant is local Tuscany food at its best! We have travelled many times to Italy before on driving holiday from Denmark, and this is really a special spot... thank you again Karen for letting us stay in your beautiful autentic home in Tuscany, and also thanks to all all the nice "down to earth" people of Vico!

“Fabulous farmhouse” Going on the internet, renting a Tuscan farmhouse and bringing family from the west coast, the east coast and the middle of the United States to a family gathering for two weeks in Italy takes a great deal of courage. My anxieties ran high until I arrived at Le Mura and I saw that it was everything I had hoped for and more. The cherries were ripe on the tree, the roses in profuse bloom. Sunshine, fig trees fruiting, olive groves: it was beautiful. All of us had a vacation and a reunion we will never forget. The old farmhouse was very comfortable and we felt we were living in Italy not just traveling through. Enzo and Celia were perfect landlords - there when we needed them but never intrusive. Our first Saturday, Enzo and Celia prepared a feast for us that would have pleased the Michelin guide editor. We had a spectacular evening meal on a terrace high in the hills above Lucca. It was a wonderful introduction to Le Mura and began the vacation of a lifetime.

“Beautiful Villa in stunning location” Spent almost a week in this beautiful villa. The views down the valley were spectacular and the village of Vico Pancellorum was charming. The villa itself was clean and comfortable - we slept better here than we do at home!! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need as was the rest of the villa. The pool is perfect for cooling off and the terrace on the first floor is perfect for lunches and sipping evening drinks. We were initially worried about the church bells but somehow after the first day we didn't here them anymore! The owners John and Cath were very informative even providing detailed maps for a journey to the villa. Many thanks to Cath as well for the great communication about the villa. Louisa the site manager was there to greet us when we arrived and also works in the fabulous local restaurant which is a stones throw away. Would recommend people to go to the restaurant - not only does it serve the best pasta I've ever tasted, you can also walk home in 2 minutes - no need for the car - win win! A lovely relaxing holiday. Thank you x
