“Relaxing Weekend Getaway” We love this home! It is on a private dead-end street, and everything is just perfect. Kept the boat right at the dock, fished right there at night, took some nice boat rides through the back country, and relaxed in paradise. Wifi is good and fast (I had to do some work while we were there), and we can't wait to go back.

“Convenient location to Yosemite with all the amenities needed for a self catering vacation.” We wanted somewhere quiet, to stay, close to Yosemite, where we could cook our own meals! That is exactly what we found, all utensils that we needed were there, the room was clean, hosts friendly, but left us to ourselves and all was comfortable. The location was equal distance to two of the park entrances and close to a grocery store. The only thing that we could not make work was the TV., but as we were trying to escape from that it was not a problem.

“Great get-away” The cabin was small but large enough for two people. The kitchen was great - being able to cook our own food was convenient. The best part was the charcoal grill and fire pit right outside the cabin. There was also a picnic table, but we had brought our "bag chairs" and sat around the fire.

“Great Little Spot” This is a nice place to stop in, play, and eat! Our cabin was clean, the property had wonderful views, and friendly staff helped us whenever we needed something. We had a great route recommendation from the owner for our motorcycle trip.

“Comfortable, well-equipped accommodations” We found our cabin very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The location is perfect for exploring the areas we enjoy: Ohio Pass, Brush Creek, Cement Creek. It's also far from any major sources of ambient night light, so we could really see the stars!

“clean, fun and polite staff” Had the best time during our family reunion in august. This cabin is clean, the staff is polite and kind. We love the 3 rivers resort!! We rented 2 cabins and 2 Lodge rooms. Each was perfect for our trip!!! Our dog came and had a wonderful time too. We had a cabin right on the river, what a beautiful sound. We cooked the fish we caught on the outside fire pit that was provided. Such a great time

“Great place to stay and ski Crested Butte.” The room looks just like the picture. It was very clean. It had a full sized fridge, a microwave, and a toaster oven. My wife and I cooked most of our meals in the room. There were limited TV stations, but they were all digital and very clear. Verizon phone service was 1-2 bars. The WiFi was limited but good enough to check email and the weather. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Three Rivers is about 20 miles from Crested Butte. Discount adult lift tickets were less than $40/day. including taxes. The futon sofa was not the most comfortable to sit on but could be made into a bed. Overall, it was a great week of skiing.

“Love This Place!” It is so reasonably priced for the accommodations that I just love staying there. Clean and comfortable in the lodge. I don't believe there is maid service daily, but who needs it? The place is huge! You can spread your stuff out without guilt. They can also provide you with discounted Crested Butte lift tickets. Best deal around. Love this place!

“Great place to stay” This was a great studio apartment. Everything was well kept and nicely furnished. The owners were very helpful about local attractions. The location was great for all the local places and the airport, yet it was quiet and restful. We would definitely stay there again.

“Clean apartment right on the beach” My friend and i stayed at this property in March 2014 and we were delighted with the location of the apartment first of all. it is right down from the busy bars and restaurants but close enough that we could walk there in a few minutes and there is a grocery store only a couple of minutes away! The beach is right behind the apartment and easily accessible and the pool was always kept lovely and clean. The apartment is very clean and has all the amenities you would require for a comfortable stay and the mattress is so comfortable that we found it hard to leave. The bathroom looks like it has been recently re tiled and the shower was lovely and clean as well.

“Nice place to stay and relax” Stayed here while visiting parents in Sun City. Loved the beach type get away feel. Clean room, friendly, restaurant on site. Easy place to walk with small beach to walk or get sun during the day. Enjoyed it very much.

“A Great Place To Stay” Having stayed in a lot of lodging in alaska Soldotna area in the past 15 years I would have to say that a cabin by the pond was the most comfortable.Alaska is a great place to visit fish and explore. To enjoy the true alaska experience you need to pace yourself.You will need a week minimum.If you are a keen fisherman by all means do a one day king,halibut and a fly out silver and that's it.Take a break between days because it will exhaust you.Check the tides for clamming great fun day out.Fish from the beach on Whiskey Gulch and anchor point only one hour south from Soldotna.Use herring and salmon belly for bait you would be surprised what you can catch. Best public fishing areas I would have to say head back over the bridge and up towards Murphys lane.(Go a little above that to the public area)Nice quite spot up there great silver red and monster rainbow(on salmon eges)Great Silver fishing down at Cunningham Park(need a good 5-6oz weight to hold you in the current)If you want to catch fish in alaska in the public areas. Be on the water at 6.30am and you will be done by 9.00am or 9.00 pm to 12.00 midnight and have a sleep in the morning.Hey its your vacation but from 9am to 9pm things can get a little too busy on the river for me.Thats why I will head south for beach fishing or north on the Russian River or a day trip to Seward or Homer. Flight discounts probably the best deal is with alaska airlines.Get the visa signature card and a partner can fly for $100.Split the cost hey for under $500 your in business.Car rental.I use aBC motor homes 3 mins from anchorage airport.They pick you up and a lot cheaper than airport prices.Before you go check out the "Alaska Outdoor Journal" website for real time up dates on fishing updates regulations..But above all if you stay at "A Cabin By the Pond" you are right in the middle of it all.Great place to stay highly recommend it.
