“Great scenic, pet friendly getaway.” The location was perfect as we were away from town but close enough to pick up things if needed. The kids loved playing corn hole and volleyball and it was perfect being able to bring our small dog.

“My type of paradise :)” We are looking forward to go back to Snug Harbor this year again. Just made our reservation. We spent a week last year and we had a ball! We were kayaking, boating, fishing, crabbing of the pier almost every day or sometimes we simply read books right by the water, got some sun and admire the surrounding nature. All of that in one spot. Very relaxing, laid back and reenergizing vacation...and that's what we need again! Looking forward to May:)and can't wait...

“Lovely” I had always been somewhat skeptical about staying at a B&B; because of privacy issues. This charming cottage is located in a separate area from the main living quarters of the house. It is located about 20 minutes from Charlottesville and has stunning views. Jim and anne were attentive but not intrusive. Their suggestions regarding things to do were spot on. Coffee on our porch in the mornings provided a view of the land as well as the flowing river. Tastefully decorated room with a very comfortable bed. My favorite things were the scrumptious surprises that would magically appear at our door as well as the pool. We will definitely return.
