“Excellent lodging option in Luray” Perfect cottage for two couples or a family visiting the Luray area. Both bedrooms have plenty of room and are very comfortable (bed + wing chairs), ensuite baths are also both very nice. Kitchen is well stocked and has most everything you would need for preparing meals. Living room is set up as a media room with inexpensive recliners, we opted for the more comfortable chairs in the bedrooms for seating. Outside space (covered and open decks, chairs, table, grill, hot tub) is well done and is an added plus to the house when the weather is nice. Having your morning coffee on the front deck as the sun glitters on the river is a great way to start the day. Our stay at Rock Tavern was on weekdays in April and it was very peaceful, road traffic was minimal. Keep in mind that there is no Wi-Fi in the house, and cellular reception can be spotty at times. The one negative is that the heating / A/C unit is right outside the master bedroom's window and can disrupt your sleep as it kicks on and off throughout the night.

“Great time” We had a great time in this house. First of all, there was not a speck of dirt when we moved in. The house is perfectly situated. 10 mins from Luray, 20 from Shenandoah River Outfitters and 10 from the Thorton Gap. We did a canoeing trip, two greats hikes and a rafting trip all in 4 full days. We could've easily stayed for more. We're looking forward to staying again...

“Dream Vacation Home” We had the best vacation this September in a long time and of course the best reason is our comfortable stay at Kimberly's apartment. The apartment is right on the bay, located in a nice, clean and friendly residential neighborhood. When we arrived, we were greeted with fresh flowers and a fruit basket on the dining table. Kimberly even placed bottled water in the refrigerator, a huge tank of fresh water in the dining space, tons of ice cubes in the freezer and chocolates in the bedroom - which my kid really loved. The apartment was super clean and we never felt lack of anything during our entire stay. We cooked at home without any hassle as we were provided with a gas grill, oven, and a huge collection of spices and other cooking accessories. We enjoyed everyday of our stay, we saw sunrise on the bay from our living room window and the porch. We went to a clean and quiet private beach nearby which was a walking distance of 5 minutes from the house. Kimberly even provided us with lots of beach toys for our toddler, beach chairs, umbrella and towels. At night we sat in the porch or on the lawn, listened to the waves crashing on the rocks, and enjoyed star gazing...ooh I miss that so much now. Kimberly also gifted us a basket of home grown delicious tomatoes the evening before we left Hampton and she also returned the security deposit the very next day. Thank you so much Kimberly for making our stay so wonderful and memorable. It is a perfect vacation house with the nicest host and will highly recommend - and we are definitely going back again next year.

“We never wanted to leave.” Our family, had a wonderful time. There was lots to do and see. We saw the dam of Smith Mountain Lake and the Dixie Cavens. The home was to are liking and there was more room than we needed. Our boys, didn't want to leave. The best part was more than one bath room.

“Beautiful beach house made for an unforgettable beach vacation!!” We had the most wonderful vacation at Sea La Vie. Elena was amazing to work with right from the start, very responsive and made sure that no detail was overlooked. The house itself is gorgeous - so beautifully decorated, had everything we needed for a perfect stay, and really felt like home. Even when it rained one day, we didn't mind because the house was so cozy and we had a great time, even inside! We really enjoyed our time on the beach and couldn't have asked for a better location. Just a few steps and we were on the gorgeous beach! It is towards the quieter side of the beach, yet less than a mile from the boardwalk. We frequently walked to the boardwalk right along the beach, it was wonderful! There is also an awesome state park within a 5 minute walk that we visited. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation and can't wait to return!

“My type of paradise :)” We are looking forward to go back to Snug Harbor this year again. Just made our reservation. We spent a week last year and we had a ball! We were kayaking, boating, fishing, crabbing of the pier almost every day or sometimes we simply read books right by the water, got some sun and admire the surrounding nature. All of that in one spot. Very relaxing, laid back and reenergizing vacation...and that's what we need again! Looking forward to May:)and can't wait...
