“Amazing villa in beautiful Tuscany” Four of us stayed in this beautiful villa for one week in Summer, 2012. From the moment we arrived Cecilia and her lovely family were friendly, helpful and professional. The villa is beautiful, modern and spacious with all the amenities we needed. It was clean and obviously well looked after. The bedrooms and living areas are good sizes and the grounds were stunning with the pool and balconies overlooking the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. It was close to lovely small towns like Cortona and Montepulciano and close enough to Florence and Siena for day trips. We didn't hire a car and Cecilia went above and beyond by organising all our transport to and from the local train station. She also organised lunch and some tours at the local wineries (which were within walking distance) which were excellent and something we might have missed if it wasn't for her help and suggestions. We walked into the local town for groceries (we also purchased the 'first shop package' so the villa was well stocked when we arrived and this worked out well as we didn't need to rush out to buy food) and booked some local drivers for day trips to Florence, Siena and other local towns. While having a car would have been easier this worked out ok for us too. We did the Italian cooking class with Cecilia's mum (amazing!) and also had the home cooked dinner one night - all the food was delicious. They also have their own vegetable garden which we used for our own meals. We all loved our time at the villa and Cecilia and her family were perfect hosts. I would definitely recommend this villa to others and we hope one day to return! Thank you Cecilia and family

“Tuscany at its best!” We are back home in Canada and just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Le Pratola. The villa was beautiful and the views breathtaking. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine by the pool and many delicious dinners al fresco. Laura's housekeeping skills were excellent and Elena's dinners were absolutely delicious. Elena was a true joy. We will miss her. We also had a lot of fun with Barbara and Brian during the cooking class. And last but not least we enjoyed the tours with alessandra and Michele who were both charming and informative. Thanks for all your help in organizing this true Tuscan experience for us.

“picturesque villa with gorgeous views” We were a large group of 9 adults 2 toddlers and a baby from The Netherlands and we spent a great week in this beautiful house located on top of a hill overlooking the Tuscan hills. The home owners Celia and Enzo are the kindest people there are. The house is very big, clean and well maintained. The pool is a great asset to this place with plenty of chairs. The little village of Benabbio is a short walk away from the house. In the morning I walked along a shepard's path amidst the olive trees to collect the bread I had ordered the day before. For other groceries you can go to Bagni di Lucca which lies directly down the hill. There are a lot of interesting places to visit. I liked Lucca best. We also went to the beach 2 times. It is more than an hour's drive but well worth the visit. All in all, a great week for all of us, and I can recommend this place to any company.

“Simply perfect for an extended family get away!” We knew we were in good hands from the minute Leigh collected us from Perugia airport. A short 45 minute trip and we joined the rest of our extended family at Casa Leana. Yes I am slightly biased, I love all things Italian and all things with a bit of history and I fell in love with this beautiful villa at first sight. Every room is tastefully decorated, with the comfort of guests clearly in mind and the HUGE kitchen and 'al fresco' patio offer the perfect space for everybody to come together. We all had great fun in the games room too. The weather was kind to us so we were able to spend hours at the pool, playing badminton and enjoying barbecues, all while enjoying the most fabulous Tuscan scenery anyone could wish for. All this AND it's just short train ride from Florence, Rome and Venice - who could ask for more? We'll be back next year without a doubt.

“Tuscan Sunset” This Villa is magnificent for a group of friends, plenty of room, bathrooms and private zones to take five. The views a just fabulous! There is great with a supermarket (Co-op) just 5 mins drive or 25 mins walk. The Villa owners are helpful with arranging tours or tips on directions or site-seeing. Cooking class, arranged through the Villa, was a hit, we are all "Master Chefs". Overall fantastic ambiance.
