“Excellent and good value accomodation” Was great from start to finish. Met Juan in Rossio Square to get shown to apartment. Very steep climb up hill and stairs to get there so not recommended for older people or people with disabilities. Juan recommended local Gingha bar which we enjoyed on a number of occasions! Apartment was spacious, clean and superb value for money. Lisbon was great fun with loads to do even when the weather was not great: pastries in Belem, restaurants in the Barri Alto and Alfama and the highlight was trip to Sintra to visit the Palace of Pena and the Moorish Fort. Would definitely say to friends that Lisbon is worth visiting and that this is apartment is best place to stay.
What a great place to stay while in Lisbon! We loved Ze's apartment - great location, quiet but just a few steps away from the very centre of Lisbon. If you like touristy stuff you can start your tour here, but it is also a good starting point for just getting lost in the city. Everything like shops, cafés or restaurants but also a great viewpoint and even the ocean are within walking distance. But you can reach the metro or tram station within five minutes as well if you aren't a friend of walking.
The flat itself it very white, clean and cozy as well. The kitchen is very well equipped. The flat is well furnished and nicely decorated. The bed is very comfortable.
Easy communication with Ze, he's helped us with the arrival and provided with advice on what to do outside of Lisbon for the next part of our trip. I would alway stay at Zé's again when I came back to visits Lisbon. I recommend this lovely place to everybody! …
PS Lisbon Flats I - Av. Liberdade / Mq. Pombal - Lovely & Central
Spotless, compact, well-equipped and very central location
This little apartment is very well located in terms of being really close to the centre. Once inside the apartment it quickly becomes like home. There was great attention to detail and Rita's warm welcome on arrival made us feel really at ease. It was immaculately clean and fresh, and Rita went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed during our stay. The little bakery shop on the corner makes the most amazing fresh bread and the little shop opposite the bakery offers basic supplies (wine, fruit, vegetables, cheese etc) at reasonable prices and with friendly service. We took the metro from the airport when we arrived and this was simple enough although with quite a heavy case we decided to take the aerobus back. There is only a short walk involved for either but once on the bus you don't have to worry about all the stairs and escalators of the metro. We used public transport regularly with a 24 hour Carris card covering limitless travel on buses, trams and the metro (as well as the famous elevators) for just 6 euros. We also found we could easily walk to a lot of places from the apartment. It was just ideal for us! …
