“A wonderful holiday in a beautiful cottage”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2012

We had a fantastic week at Maytime Cottage this August. The cottage was clean and fresh when we arrived and it is airy and spacious with loads of character. It made you feel right at home. There was good information about places to go and some walks that go from the cottage. You can walk up the hill near Maytime Cottage and from the top you can see for miles in all directions. There is a really lovely big kitchen and dining room and the garden room is just brilliant. We ate outside most days as the weather was nice. The cottage is surrounded by fields with awesome views, and you can get to the beach in 5 or 10 minutes. The only small thing was that we couldn't find the barbeque. (it turned out to be in a shed at the end of the garden) You can also get fresh eggs, jams, fruit and veg from the people next door who run a little smallholding. All in all it was the best cottage we've stayed in!
