Description

A Tuscan vineyard, an old country house, is situated on a mountain slope near the ancient Etruscan city of Volterra in one of the most beautiful landscapes of Tuscany Podere Cortilla. In the country house there are five apartments with a total of about 20 beds.

The House: Podere Cortilla is an azienda agrituristica, this is a farm in which also apartments are rented. Here, you get genuine wine and best olive oil from our own production - directly in the fattoria. Podere Cortilla has been lovingly restored in many years of work, the rustic medieval buildings combined with the comfort of today possible. The facility includes five apartments of different sizes with a total of about 20 beds. All apartments are furnished in Tuscan style and comfortable. You are in separate parts of the building with own entrances, so that it is undisturbed. A highlight for all guests is the beautiful large swimming pool (14m x 7m). Central barbecue invites you to summer meals in the open air. A powerful solar system for supplying their own power on the spacious carport is new.

The facilities: L'angolo is a two-storey apartment of 45 square meters size for up to four people. On the ground floor are a small hallway, living room with dining area, a kitchenette and a spacious bathroom, a bedroom with double bed is located on the first floor (orthopedic). The sofa in the living room is suitable as a comfortable sofa bed for two persons. The furniture is authentically Tuscan. The kitchen furniture are made of solid chestnut with counter tops made of genuine granite. Facilities include a stove with 4 ceramic hotplates, a refrigerator, a coffee machine and a toaster and a hair dryer. There are permanent central supply with hot water and heating, and satellite TV with many English channels and a stereo with CD player. A washing machine is centrally available.

Location: Podere Cortilla is situated at 250 m on a mountain slope in the beautiful landscape of the era Valley, near the historical Etruscan town of Volterra (6 km). The surrounding belongs to the most beautiful landscapes of Tuscany with its typical Hill formations and characteristic vegetation. The country house is surrounded by more than 20 hectares of nature: forest, meadows, olive groves, vineyards and grain fields. Here you will find an ideal place for a quiet holiday in a very original nature. With about 11,000 inhabitants, Volterra offers a comprehensive infrastructure, supermarkets, specialty shops, boutiques, restaurants of every type and price range. Cities such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano are between 30 and 80 km away, to the Mediterranean sea there are only 40 kilometers. There are no fewer than 15 golf courses in Tuscany.
