Getting around

The closest railway station is Empoli (12 Km from Vinci) which has good connections to Florence, Pisa and Siena. We always recommend to take the train to get to Florence because of the traffic and the difficulty of finding parking, moreover the main station in Florence is set in the middle of the city. Other towns or villages can be reached by car: Lucca, Pistoia, Certaldo, S.Gimignano, Volterra, Montecatini,etc

Interaction with guest

We live on site, so we are always available in case of problems, to give advice, or just for a chat if our guests wish to learn more about the local area or the olive oil production. We like to interact with our guests, to learn more about them but we are very careful not to disturb their privacy. Some of our cats are also very friendy and they are expert in PR. As for the donkeys they like to let our guests know that they are there and that they are welcome to go and pet them...but mind the fingers!
