“Perfect setting for a week in Kerry”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2013

Being only a quick 7 minute drive from Dingle, this property is so close to all the action, but far enough away where you can really enjoy the serenity that Ventry has to offer. Ard na carraige is set perfectly on a hill so you can really enjoy the harbour views. A couple days we barely left the house and sat in the beautiful front sitting room (our favourite room) watching the day go by. So relaxing. The house is very well kept and is quite modern yet full of character. The dining area has wonderful views of the harbour as well, which adds to the enjoyment of mealtimes. The kitchen is quite nice and has a full dishwasher, along with both a washer and dryer which is quite convenient for longer stays. We were given wonderful recommendations on local attractions and restaurants by the owners of Ard na carraige. We loved our stay so much that we extended our stay by a night because we simply didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back.

“Fantastic house in great location”

Reviewed 15 Feb 2013

Really enjoyed our stay in " Ard Na Carraige"...its a lovely renovated house... very cosy , private, spotlessly clean and in a great location with a good view over Ventry harbour. Everything was in its place and the owner kindly left milk and fresh scones etc for our tea on the evening of our arrival. Its a good base for touring that part of Kerry and we enjoyed returning to the house at night because a peaceful sleep was assured.
