“Amazing stay” My husband, our dog and myself rent this house for a week every year and will continue to go back. The views are absolutely beautiful and there is a lovely big garden to enjoy it in. The house is nice and large and it has everything that you would need in it. There are three big bedrooms so plenty of room and the living room downstairs with comfy couches and a fireplace is perfect to relax in the evening. It's just ideal.

“A Gem in the "Emerald" Isle.” After a lengthy four month holiday of Scotland and France, our final month and destination before returning home to Australia was Ireland. After spending sometime in Belfast and Dublin we decided to book a self catering accomodation for 10 days of rest and recretaion purposes before tackling the flight home. Whilst in Dublin we went online with Holidaylettings UK and came across "Knockatinna" which appreared to suit our needs and our purse. Booking was easy enough and the trip to County Kerry was great, but be prepared for some narrow roads in the last mile getting there. Nothwithstanding, I can say that it is more than worth it. Practical details are that this self catering holiday home has great space inside and out. It is clean, extremely comfortably furnished, is secluded from noisy surrounds, traffic and otherwise, is unbelivebly well stocked in the kitchen regarding, a lovely welcome package, refridgerated food items, pantry food basics, pots, pans, utensils, cleaning, and bathroom items, etc etc. For families or couples who want to base themseleves in a fantastic part of Ireland, to enjoy day trips around the Ring of Kerry, to towns like Dingle, Cork, Kilarney,Tralee ...or just chill to out and recharge the batteries, "Knockatinna" is it. Plenty of room for kids to run around, two bathrooms, huge kitchen/dining area, log fires, fantastic views from most of the windows in the house, and shops/pubs/cafes/local attractions are less than a ten minute drive. Most improtantly, Kathleen and John our hosts were indicative of the warm and friendly nature that the Irish are noted for. They ensure that your stay is a memorable one. (Kathleen makes the best Irish Coffees that I have ever had). Without hesitation if we find ourselves in Ireland again, Knockatinna will see us again. Bottom line for us, we loved enough to extend ours stay for and extra four nights. We recommend and rate this "let" most highly.

“Great holidays in Ait Sonny” We loved to sit in the winter garden to enjoy the fantastic view to Valentia Island, Knightstown and Portmagee (as long as the weather was fine). Cow and calf grazed on the pasture in front of the house. Therefore, we were living in the middle of Kerry Gold's advertisement. The house has been tastefully restored with a lot of attention to detail. We felt very comfortable. The right cottage for those who are looking for peace, nature and relaxation. Cahersiveen is a perfect starting point for excursions to the surrounding area.

“Great cottage” Hi, We staid in this cottage for a week in july 2010 with two adults and two children (age 4 and 6) The children loved it, we loved it... It is neat and cozy and everything is there you need... There is a big kitchen which has all you need to cook, eat or (dish)wash or just sit and relax and read a magazine. The living room is very cozy and has a fireplace, radio and small tv with video player (thanks for the Dvds, Anne)... and is great to relax after a day of activities. The bathroom has a shower and (bubbel)bath, nice... The main bedroom is large with all comfort, second bedroom is a bit smaller (single bed). A spare bed is available. No problem with young kids. The owners (Anne and Patrick) are very helpfull and generous... I highly advise this cottage, you won't be disappointed! Cheers, Geert

“Lovely home in quaint Kenmare with easy access to all of the sights!” First, the home is gorgeous and well-equipped. Nice bathrooms (great hot showers!), kitchen and laundry machine. Kathleen welcomed me with a fire burning in the living room - she is a wonderful and kind person. The home is within walking distance to the main two streets in Kenmare. From this location we drove to the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula. It was a piece of cake! I highly suggest this property to anyone staying in Kenmare!!

“Lots of space, lots of privacy, amazing views” Excellent location to explore the peninsulas and close to Kenmare. Great place although not yet any baby facilities (we went with a 6 month old baby, and had to bring highchair, travel cot etc). Great self-catering facilities, comfortable (although bathrooms are a bit spartan!).
