“Lovely home in quaint Kenmare with easy access to all of the sights!” First, the home is gorgeous and well-equipped. Nice bathrooms (great hot showers!), kitchen and laundry machine. Kathleen welcomed me with a fire burning in the living room - she is a wonderful and kind person. The home is within walking distance to the main two streets in Kenmare. From this location we drove to the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsula. It was a piece of cake! I highly suggest this property to anyone staying in Kenmare!!

“A comfortable and spacious property, with a lovely outlook” The property is well-situated for some of the best scenery of the Ring of Kerry and there's a great view from the front of the house. It has a comfortable lounge and walk-through to a kitchen diner. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished. There's a separate utility room. The showers worked, but were disappointing and could benefit from upgrading. Keep some euros handy for when you leave to cover the charge for electricity and oil (for the central heating). The key pick-up arrangement was easy and we had a 'welcome visit' from the owner soon after we arrived to make sure all was ok and to give us some tips on the local area. Overall, a comfortable relaxing week.

“Amazing stay” My husband, our dog and myself rent this house for a week every year and will continue to go back. The views are absolutely beautiful and there is a lovely big garden to enjoy it in. The house is nice and large and it has everything that you would need in it. There are three big bedrooms so plenty of room and the living room downstairs with comfy couches and a fireplace is perfect to relax in the evening. It's just ideal.

“Spectacular Home” Our stay at An Teach Dearg was absolutely perfect, House was so comfortable and spotless clean, Kitchen well stocked with all we needed to prepare all our meals. Just 10 minutes from the lovely town of Dingle. House is located on Slea Head Drive which has breathtaking views of the peninsula. Local pubs, horseback riding, scenery, beach all nearby. Caretaker Jenny was most helpful in getting us settled into the house and just a phone call away. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Dingle.

“Little Piece of Heaven” Firstly let me thank our wonderful host Mag and Eugene for working so hard to make sure the cottage was ready... and for going beyond the call of duty when our car was disabled. The cottage was the highlight of our trip to Ireland it was our home away from home and had everything anyone could need, the ever changing views from the cottage are memories which I will forever remember when I think of Ireland. The Beara peninsula is a great location to see the real Ireland away from the more tourist areas. the mountains, the sea views are amazing and just a short drive from the cottage the not to miss Healy Pass over the mountains and the Stone Celtic Ring with amazing views of the mountain valleys. Having traveled around the world I can say that the Cottage is the one place that I will return.

“A Gem in the "Emerald" Isle.” After a lengthy four month holiday of Scotland and France, our final month and destination before returning home to Australia was Ireland. After spending sometime in Belfast and Dublin we decided to book a self catering accomodation for 10 days of rest and recretaion purposes before tackling the flight home. Whilst in Dublin we went online with Holidaylettings UK and came across "Knockatinna" which appreared to suit our needs and our purse. Booking was easy enough and the trip to County Kerry was great, but be prepared for some narrow roads in the last mile getting there. Nothwithstanding, I can say that it is more than worth it. Practical details are that this self catering holiday home has great space inside and out. It is clean, extremely comfortably furnished, is secluded from noisy surrounds, traffic and otherwise, is unbelivebly well stocked in the kitchen regarding, a lovely welcome package, refridgerated food items, pantry food basics, pots, pans, utensils, cleaning, and bathroom items, etc etc. For families or couples who want to base themseleves in a fantastic part of Ireland, to enjoy day trips around the Ring of Kerry, to towns like Dingle, Cork, Kilarney,Tralee ...or just chill to out and recharge the batteries, "Knockatinna" is it. Plenty of room for kids to run around, two bathrooms, huge kitchen/dining area, log fires, fantastic views from most of the windows in the house, and shops/pubs/cafes/local attractions are less than a ten minute drive. Most improtantly, Kathleen and John our hosts were indicative of the warm and friendly nature that the Irish are noted for. They ensure that your stay is a memorable one. (Kathleen makes the best Irish Coffees that I have ever had). Without hesitation if we find ourselves in Ireland again, Knockatinna will see us again. Bottom line for us, we loved enough to extend ours stay for and extra four nights. We recommend and rate this "let" most highly.

“The vacation on the Dingle Peninsula was absolutely magical!” Kevin's home was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The kitchen was so well supplied and Kevin even provided a crib and high chair for my granddaughter. The location was a short 20 minute drive to Dingle which was such a cute town with many delicious restaurants and wonderful music filling the pubs in the evenings. It is hard to pinpoint what was the highlight of the trip because everything was amazing. We will definitely return to Dingle again and we will be making our reservations at Kevin's beautiful home!

No. 1 The Cable Station
Beautiful house in stunning location!

We stayed at the Cable Station for two weeks and had the most relaxing, wonderful holiday! The house is situated right on Ballinskelligs beach - the views are incredible and having direct access to the beach meant we could all go sea swimming multiple times a day without lugging towels etc down to the beach which was brilliant as we had four children under 7 with us! On sunny days we stayed on the beach and when the weather turned, Ballinskelligs is in a great location for visiting other beautiful locations along the coast. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owner had left us a bottle of wine in the fridge, along with a cake, some soda bread, milk, butter and jam which was a lovely touch. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything you might need plus a huge fridge. The utility room on the ground floor was brilliant as well with a washing machine, tumble dryer, huge freezer as well as a wine fridge - we couldn’t have asked for more! All the bedrooms has wonderful views and we’re so spacious with lots of room to unpack into drawers and wardrobes. the showers were great - we used them all daily and never ran out of hot water, plus the pressure was good too. The main living room was so huge and has such beautiful views it was a very relaxing room to be in, along with the balcony with a huge table and chairs which we also used daily. The garden again was huge and we used the washing line to hang wetsuits and swimming costumes after coming straight off the beach, there was also a hose and outdoor tap which was great for rinsing wetsuits and feet before going back into the house! All in all it was a really lovely place to stay and we can’t wait to visit again soon!see more
Sheen Woods
Highly Recommend

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in Sheen Woods for 2 weeks this summer. Rosarie was a pleasure and very easy to deal with before we arrived. She and Mary then gave us a lovely friendly welcome and were very informative about the local and wider area. The house itself was spotless, very comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. There were plenty of linens and towels supplied. It’s set in a very quiet, pretty setting, with a lovely shared garden overlooking the river. The house is a great base for exploring Kenmare, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. There are plenty of great places to eat in Kenmare itself so we were never stuck for choice. For us with a 4 year old, the walk into Kenmare itself took about 20 minutes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sheen Woods and we hope to be back ourselves again some day!see more
Lovely 3 Bedroom Killarney Holiday Home
Fantastic holiday home

Absolutely loved my time in Donals house. It was beautiful and had all mod cons very spacious to. It is located about 5 mins drive from killarney Town centre. Taxi was around 10 euro. Right next door is the oaks Hotel and a 5 minute walk down the road was the gleneagles Hotel. A short dander and you were in killarney national park which is beautiful. Arrived to the house and we were greater by a welcome basket which was great. I will definitely go back and would give this house a 10/10. Thanks Donalsee more

Superb house with stunning views of Skellig Michael perfect holiday home

This house was so great, you couldn't ask for a better house, it was so lovely and had everything you need, scenic views from kitchen, living room and master bedroom. The views of Skellig Michael will stay with me for a long time. It's a great base for a week or two to explore the Ring of Kerry. Lovely walks along the lane with beautiful flowers, I cannot recommend this house/location highly enough. Angela the owner was so helpful and kind. So lucky to have stayed here.see more

A quaint farmhouse
