“Amazing stay” My husband, our dog and myself rent this house for a week every year and will continue to go back. The views are absolutely beautiful and there is a lovely big garden to enjoy it in. The house is nice and large and it has everything that you would need in it. There are three big bedrooms so plenty of room and the living room downstairs with comfy couches and a fireplace is perfect to relax in the evening. It's just ideal.

“The perfect cottage with the greatest hostess !!!” My husband, my 8-month old son and I just spent a wonderful week at the Doire cottage. The cottage was beautiful, so clean and well maintained. The location was just perfect to explore Kenmare, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the owner, Anne !! She brought us fresh milk, eggs and scones. She even brought toys for our baby boy. She really made us feel at home and even shared a few cooking tips !! I highly recommend this cottage. Our experience was just perfect. Thank you anne !

“Great cottage” Hi, We staid in this cottage for a week in july 2010 with two adults and two children (age 4 and 6) The children loved it, we loved it... It is neat and cozy and everything is there you need... There is a big kitchen which has all you need to cook, eat or (dish)wash or just sit and relax and read a magazine. The living room is very cozy and has a fireplace, radio and small tv with video player (thanks for the Dvds, Anne)... and is great to relax after a day of activities. The bathroom has a shower and (bubbel)bath, nice... The main bedroom is large with all comfort, second bedroom is a bit smaller (single bed). A spare bed is available. No problem with young kids. The owners (Anne and Patrick) are very helpfull and generous... I highly advise this cottage, you won't be disappointed! Cheers, Geert

“owners very friendly and helpful” The one problem we had was with the shower - my husband was unable to access it due to the narrow fitting of the door.

“Little Piece of Heaven” Firstly let me thank our wonderful host Mag and Eugene for working so hard to make sure the cottage was ready... and for going beyond the call of duty when our car was disabled. The cottage was the highlight of our trip to Ireland it was our home away from home and had everything anyone could need, the ever changing views from the cottage are memories which I will forever remember when I think of Ireland. The Beara peninsula is a great location to see the real Ireland away from the more tourist areas. the mountains, the sea views are amazing and just a short drive from the cottage the not to miss Healy Pass over the mountains and the Stone Celtic Ring with amazing views of the mountain valleys. Having traveled around the world I can say that the Cottage is the one place that I will return.
