Description

Right on the seafront of Torrox Costa, this is a bright and airy 6th floor apartment with fantastic views. The south facing balcony receives sun all day (except in midsummer when there is welcome shade around midday when the sun is at it's highest). The sun streams into the apartment in the winter plus we have UPVC double glazing and heating. Our westerly view takes in the start of the 2km long promenade and the 4km main sandy beach. Straight ahead at the point is the 'Balcon' (we have a birds eye view of the concerts held here in summer) and lighthouse, whilst the Easterly view looks out over the river bed, the natural beach and mountains. The apartment is in a quiet location (note: the road in the pictures is a quiet cul-de-sac leading only to the sea and is used mainly for parking). The main sound you will hear is the waves crashing on the beach! The sunrise can be viewed from the apartment all year round as can the sunset in winter. The balcony is well divided from neighbouring balconies by a large gap and divider. Don't forget to click on the photo gallery to see all the photos.

The apartment is served by two lifts. Across the cul-de-sac is the start of the 4km sandy beach and 2km pedestrianised promenade of Torrox Costa with many high quality restaurants (at least 40!) and a refreshing lack of rowdy bars or clubs. We have free wifi and international internet TV (including BBC/ITV). The apartment is recently refitted and is kept immaculate. We have a fixed double and pull out single bed, both with full sprung mattresses. The kitchen has microwave, full oven and grill and a washing machine.

Torrox Costa is an ideal base for exploring the local area. Easily reached from Malaga airport by car within 40 minutes or by bus to the nearby bus stop. There is a lovely promenade just a step away from your front door packed with restaurants and cafes. We have all the major supermarkets in easy walking distance. The lovely white village of Torrox Pueblo is ten minutes drive/bus ride away for a taste of traditional Spain and the bustling Nerja with it's famous caves is also ten minutes by car or bus. There are lovely coastal and mountain walks or drives close by.

You will be dealing directly with us, the owners with a highly personalised service. We have been letting this apartment for nine years as you can see from our reviews. We do not use letting agents and do not have multiple properties. Our lovely cleaners live near the apartment should you need assistance or optional extra cleaning services during your stay. We do not add on any extras. Everything is included. Whilst the standard TripAdvisor cancellation policy stands, on top of this if we are able to resell cancelled dates we promise to refund at the rate we are able to resell at less costs. We believe this to be a fairer approach.

Note: Our studio, being on the end of the building, is larger than most in the block and has a different layout, larger balcony with more windows allowing a lovely through breeze. It is the only larger studio with an open balcony.

We are very flexible on dates and changeover days which can be any day of the week. Stays can be of any length ( minimum charge 7 nights) with discounts for stays of 14 nights or over.

Note, whilst we usually have a 7 nights minimum charge, if you see a gap between bookings in the availablity calendar of less than 7 nights we can usually offer a good rate for this. Please ask.

Payment is preferably by bank transfer. We can accept euros or sterling (GBP). We can also accept cheques and credit cards. Paypal can be accepted with a small fee..

Sleeping arrangements are one fixed double and a pull out single bed with all bedding supplied. Kitchen and bathroom were recently fully refitted with all new appliances including full oven as well as microwave and hob. There is also a washing machine and ample hanging space. Beach towels are supplied. We have a small safe which takes a slim netbook or IPAD. All electricity is included(no gas installed)
CD/radio micro system with Ipod connectivity. Flatscreen TV with internationanl internet TV. All British channels available including BBC,ITV and Channel 4. German and Italian channels. Note: We cannot guarantee quality as dependant on communal wifi. Also Spanish Digital television. We also have internet access on the TV with keyboard. Free wifi is available for your laptop/tablet/smartphone. The internet cafe is only 150 metres away open 7 days 10am to 11pm.

Well where to start... from the very quick response from the owners, answering my initial enquiry to receiving the comprehensive information pack. The owners Dave and Fleur are both friendly, professional and totally honest. The pictures and video are exactly as seen but do not convey how lovely the location and the studio really are when you see it for the first time.We were lucky enough to meet up with friends who were staying in Torrox, they both commented on just how lovely the studio and balcony in particular, were. It has such a warm and homely feel and the contacts M and M where very helpful, There are a good few bars and restaurants in the area,look for the ones with various meats on skewers, be warned, don't eat much on the day before you visit the portions just keep coming and coming! There is a lovely little beach bar that is to the left of the lighthouse and along the beach approx 500 meters,where flip flops and take a towel, you may get wet feet ! To sum up, great location, excellent clean studio, nice helpful owners. Cant wait for the next Torrox break.

A little gem, fantastic location near to all the amenities and overlooking the Med, quiet yet never far from the bustling seafront with its bars and restaraunts. Great value for money and spotlessly clean with all the home comforts. A super getaway for last minute breaks would sleep two adults and small child. Not overlooked and very quiet apartment with lifts and secure entrance, plenty of parking if you hire a car and just 30 seconds walk to the beach. We will be returning very soon.

When we arrived we were pleasantly suprised. It was clean which was a concern of mine. It was bright sunny (even in feburary) and the views were spectacular. Had been to Torrox once before enjoyed it, The apartment is central to everything, and very close to bus station which will take you to most places you may like to visit. We liked the outside balcony, which is quite unusual in a studio. we liked out breakfast out there every morning. We also was lucky to do some dolphin watching form the balcony. Shower was great . Would definetly return. Thanks David & Fleur.

Having stayed for five weeks, the whole month of December and first week of New Year 2012 only one word to describe my experience at Ruselo Studio in Punta de Torrox: PERFECT!!! Fab weather sunrises and sunsets at this time of the year from the lovely balcony, Firedisplays and very quiet to start the perfect New Year in Paradise. The studio has everything you do not need to buring enything with you and when you arrive.... a huge smile for the rest of your stay... anything better to star a new year? Thank you very much indeed to the wonderful owners Dave and Fleur. Thank you again and again, you deserve the best for making so many guests so happy!!!

We have been in the flat for one week, and it's really nice. There are everything we neded for our holidays. In our opinion the best is the terrace and it's views, because from there one can see the beach and see, the lighthouse, the mouth of the Torrox River in the Mediterranean Sea, ruins of Roman thermal baths just below, the moon's reflected light on the sea at night... We arrived to the beach in a couple of minutes, and the promenade where there are some nice restaurants and bars. There are also several nearby supermarkets. The whether was fantastis everydays, except the last one. Neighboring places to visit: Nerja's Cave, and the beautiful town of Frigiliana. In addition, the flat's owners are quite kind. In conclusion, we recommend this place to people who are looking for relax and a lot of sun. Regards.

It is without doubt the best vacation spot I have ever been. A place where you can relax watching the sea from the bed. The views are unbeatable. The studio was clean and not lacking any detail, the decor is exquisite and the place quite silent. Fleur was lovely with us, thank you for everything. Definitely a highly recommended place.

This was a very last minute trip for me. Fleur and David gave me gave me speedy service and provided excellent information about the apartment facilities, directions and surrounding area. The apartment was even better than the advert!! Its quite compact but the amazing sense of light and space and wonderful sea views, made it a joy to be in. There apartment is very well equipped, there absolutely everything that you could possibly want for your holiday. Torrox Costa is a small purpose built family resort but within reach lovely whitewashed villages and larger towns within easy reach. I didn't hire a car and used the very good + cheap buses everyday. It was always good to come back to my quiet little haven every evening. I would certainly recommend this apartment.
