“Already re-booked next year!” We had a lovely two weeks here in August this year. This well kept and modern apartment suited us perfectly (party of 2 adults 2 children). It was clean on arrival, there was plenty of wardrobe space and the beds were comfortable too. The apartment included all things needed for hols such as air conditioning, towels, hairdryer, washing machine etc. and there is really good WiFi available too. The balcony is a great sun trap and it is lovely to spend the late afternoons out there. It sits within a beautifully kept complex, where palm trees and flowers surround the gardens. We took use of the pick-up service from the airport which was great as it meant we were in the pool within an hour of meeting our contact. The complex has 3 lovely pools and a kiddies pool too. The top and bottom pools were great if you have small kids as they have good shallow areas and walk down steps. The middle pool has a good pool bar where the beer is good value. Our hosts had thoughtfully provided loungers for us to use as there are not any available in the pool areas. It is worth having an explore around the complex as there are some great "cut throughs" to the supermarkets and local bars and restaurants. Down at the beach there is lovely boardwalk that takes you into La Cala which is well worth doing as there are some good shops and restaurants serving authentic Spanish cuisine.

“Fantastic apartment,stunning views,perfect location.” We have stayed in this lovely apartment on numerous occasions in the last few years. It is set on a hillside in a secure well maintained development and is furnished to a very high standard with modern, comfortable furniture. The living area is open plan and the bedrooms are large. The master is particularly impressive with a large jet bath and patio doors open onto the balcony.The balcony is very big and provides a six seater table and chairs, 4 comfortable sunbeds and a large hot-tub. The views of the Med are stunning and you get the sun all day. There is a large private swimming pool shared by the apartments in this small development & there are plenty of comfortable sunbeds. We usually hire a car from Malaga airport approx 20 mins drive away. This is not essential, as pubic transport is reliable and cheap and there is a small grocery shop, restaurant and beach within walking distance.There is also a little train that offers a free service around the resort and stops at all of the necessarry locations. The main coast road is 5 mins away and there are some lovely resorts,villages, beaches and restaurants to be explored. Jane & Gary provide more information for their guests if needed. Expect a long wait at Malaga Airport to collect your car on a Saturday (sometimes over an hour) and it's worth considering that the longest queues are at the cheapest car hire providers. We have had some wonderful holidays in this apartment and I look forward to going back.

“Beautiful inside and out” Everything about our stay here was beautiful! The apartment was very spacious and very well designed with everything we needed, the outside area and views are stunning, the pool was amazing and the town was only a 5 minute drive away with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Plus the big gates and security code made us feel very safe. We have a 5 year old son and he loved playing in the pool all day with the inflatables and toys that were already there (which was a bonus). All in all this is a perfect place to stay and we couldn't of wished for a better, more relaxing holiday so thank you very much.

“Perfect - Just what we wanted - 'and more'” From the moment we made our first enquiry to our last goodbyes, our experience of this rental was just perfect. The owners, Helen and Steve, know exactly how to make your time extra special. We have been to many many holiday rentals but have never experienced anything as fantastic as this penthouse. Helen and Steve picked us up from Alora train station and we were instantly at ease with them (like meeting up with old friends, although we had never met them before in our lives - they are just lovely) They took us to the penthouse and showed us around. It is absolutely immaculate and stocked with everything you could possibly need (no rush to the supermarket required before you can settle and start to relax - you're holiday starts the minute you walk through the door). This leeds me to 'The Food Hamper'. You've heard the saying about Christmas coming early. Again we have never experienced any welcome pack with so much thought put into it. How perfect is it when you can kick your shoes off, open the balcony doors, pour an ice cold cava and a beer and drink in the breathtaking views that surround this penthouse. Helen and Steve are the perfect hosts. They are just magic at what they do. Whilst looking for anything at all, you just open a cupboard or a drawer and it's there. They have thought of absolutely everything. When they took us back to the station they said they are only treating their guests the way they would like to be treated themselves. They are such a caring and thoughtful couple. They assured us that they were only a phone call away if we needed them (which we didn't as they had thought of everything) but they never intruded. Now if you can tear yourself away from the penthouse. Alora is so friendly too. The bars and restaurants offer lovely tapas, menu del dias and meals for special occasions. There is something to suit all tastes and pockets. If you overindulge in the eating and drinking department then Alora is quite hilly and therefore you also have the opportunity to walk off those extra indulgences. We will certainly recommend Helen and Steve's penthouse far and wide. We ourselves hope to be back one day along with our children. Our ambition is to visit many 'Pueblos Blancos'. However, we will struggle to find any accomodation to match this. Not only is it stunning, it is outstanding value for money. Thank you Helen and Steve for making our stay so perfect. “Beautiful Apartment In Great Location” Just spent 5 days in lovely Malaga in this well kept and located apartment. Booking and correspondence was great before the visit. The acommodation is managed by a letting company and they were very helpful arranging transfers for us and meeting us on arrival to show us the apartment which is on Mercat Square also home to Picasso's birthplace and lots of bustlings bars and restaurants. La Plaza and Celticdruids worth a mention. Lovely food, drink and staff in both. The apartment itself is well keep and both double bedrooms are ensuite. The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher if you need it and all other mod cons are catered for. A lovely stay in a great apartment.

“Very nice and well equipped penthouse” We had spend a week tin his really nice penthouse. It is worth to mention that we really liked: - the cleanness of the penthouse - the equipment (you will find everything you need) - the terrace with its own kitchen - the sonos sound system - the nice contact and help from Lena - the strategic location of the penthouse (day trips to Grenada, Gibraltar, Marbella, Malaga…) - and finally the really lovely weather We can recommend this penthouse.

“Excellent Apartment Complex - return every year” Another lovely stay at the Alanda Club. Staff really helpful, apartment opening out onto the pool through one of the bedrooms - my only gripe this year is that the pool didn't appear to be cleaned every day and because it was windy one evening it contained leaves and other dirt that had blown in. On the whole we had an excellent stay and will be returning next year.

“Off Street Gem” We recently stayed in Los Molinos and really enjoyed our experience. The apt was compact and very well maintained. Washing machine and tumble dryer were an added bonus as was the pull along shopping trolley we discovered to wheel water etc back from the supermarket!!! The apt was like a secret just above the La Fuente restuarant. We were fortunate to have the courtyard below to ourselves for most of our holiday and ate both breakfast and dinner there on a couple of occasions. This compensated for the fact that there was no balcony to sit out on as Ian had explained. There was air conditioning in the bedroom at a cost of approx 1 euro for 4 hours and there were two electric fans which we used in the living area. The pool was also well maintained with two seperate sections, plenty of sunbeds and not always too busy. The location was excellent with a 5 to 10 minute stroll into the centre of Mijas. This was our second time in Mijas which is a beautiful village with great charm, plenty of nice bars and restuarants and friendly people which may not be the same in other parts of Spain! The El Nino bar and restuarant at the other end of the village is highly recommended for reasonably priced local food and friendly staff. All in all we would certainly recommend Los Molinos apt to any couple wishing to visit Mijas.

“Wonderful Apartment” What a wonderful apartment. Beautifully refurbished to a very high standard spotlessly clean (compliments to the cleaning team). The apartment was very well equipped with every thing you need to fully self cater should you wish. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras provided for example beech towels, chairs and umbrella, and a trolley bag for trips to the supermarket. The apartment is in a great location close to restaurants, beeches and the supermarket. Antonella was great to deal with, prompt and informative with communications, she welcomed us at the apartment and gave us useful advice on the town of Nerja, restaurants places to visit etc. We will most definitely go back.

“WHAT A FIND!” We have just returned from a one week stay at the apartment (definitely not long enough!) We have had a wonderful time with the pool mostly to our selves, so the 4 year old has had a whale of a time. The apartment is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need including internet TV. Very tastefully furnished, the bedrooms are very large and airy with tons of drawer and wardrobe space and the top floor terrace was perfect to sunbathe and have the evening meal in total privacy. You are very well situated on a quiet street-only 5 minutes walk to the parade of shops and restaurants. Another 5 minutes and you can catch a bus all along the coast road either way as you really are in the middle between Malaga and Marbella. Karen was lovely to deal with and the whole booking went very smoothly - can't wait to go back!

“Very relaxing beautifull place to stay” We had the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, the villa was excellent well presented very clean had everything we needed, easy to find from the airport and travelling around Malaga was so easy from the villa. The best thing was having our own pool, the whole experience was fabulous for us.
