Sun-drenched beachfront studio apartment (self-catering) - sleeps 3 - 4.

This sun-drenched studio apartment is part of the attractive Castillo de Santa Clara complex situated in the heart of the popular resort of Torremolinos. Santa Clara is located on Punta de Torremolinos which separates the popular sandy beaches of Carihuela and Bajondillo. These beaches, which also incorporate the El Gato / Beirola beach, are easily accessible by lift directly from the property. At the upper level, the complex also has easy access to the shopping, restaurants and bars of Torremolinos town via the complex's exclusive lifts. This avoids the necessity to use the busy public "pay lifts" or many steps. After a day on the beach or by the pool, guests can retreat to the studio in minutes and get ready for an evening on the town.

The comfortable self-catering studio with a stunning seaview is perfect for a couple or for friends. Two comfortable twin beds may be combined into a double or separated for singles, along with a comfortable day-bed (which can be extended in the evening to provide a fourth bed), flat-screen TV, WiFi and aircon unit. A fully-featured kitchen includes ceramic hotplate (x2), fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans plus utensils. Good-sized bathroom with full-sized bath/shower, basin, bidet and w/c.

Studio guests can also enjoy the hotel's inviting lush garden with swimming pool (open June to September), sunbathing area and panoramic sea views. Other hotel facilities include a 24hr reception. Apartment keys can be collected from the concierge, making arrival hassle-free.

Train and bus transport links are minutes away giving easy connections from and to the airport as well as the attractive city of Malaga, as well as the resort areas of Benalmadena and Fuengirola by local train. as well as Aqualand and other amenities in the surrounding areas. The location is also perfect for day trips to visit mountain villages in the surrounding countryside, the dramatic scenery of El Chorro Gorge and the spectacular village of Ronda by hire car or train (via Malaga).

Getting around

Torremolinos is conveniently located for Malaga airport, with easy train, bus and taxi connections. The local train service links the town to Malaga city to the east along to Benalmadena and Fuengirola to the west. Bus services run along the coast to Marbella and beyond as well as inland. Intercity train services run from Malaga's Maria Zambrano station.

As advertised, excellent central spot. Clean, tidy secure. Will book again. Lots of nice eatery and bars. Lovely holiday

“Seconds away from the beach with excellent view”

The studio is perfectly located on the "Punto" headland which means that both Torremolinos town and the Carihuela areas for shopping and restaurants are within easy reach and there's a handy private elevator up to street level. The studio itself is unfussy and comfortable with everything you need. We only used the kitchen for making coffee in the morning and a fruit salad breakfast - blissfull to enjoy them on the balcony before hitting the beach. The balcony itself was very sunny and had a lovely view, which is one of the reasons why we chose to stay here. The decor could do with being updated but the studio has everything you'd need. We didn't use the pool as we prefer to go to the beach, but it looked lovely and the gardens had lovely views of the sea and even the Sierra Nevada mountains. A handy tip would be to recommend the El Gato Lounge restaurant/bar which is almost directly downstairs on the beach. Great service, very good food and drinks selection.
