“Very peaceful location”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2012

We stayed for one week in Clovelly Barn. It is very well located for walking the Coastal Path in North Devon/Cornwall. The barn is well furnished and equipped and we were made very welcome by the owner. I would recommend this barn to anyone, especially walkers and people who want to get away from the crowds.

“something about this place is just right”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2012

I've been to Southoles before, with my two daughters, one 13 one 6, and for me both visits have been very special. I live a pretty frantic life and Southoles is the perfect antidote. The kids love it for different reasons, and I love it because they love it and because it feels off the map a bit, by which I mean, its 10 mins from the Atlantic Highway and therefore offers great access to all north Devon/Cornwall has to offer but you have no sense of crowds, or traffic or tourist traps. To cap it all, Seldon and Alison who run the place are wonderful, not intrusive at all, and keep the place in really great shape.
