Description from owner
Villa Jessica is a beautifully presented family villa located in a truly stunning location on a private and gated road 1Km north of the Spanish 'White Village' of Sayalonga on the Costa del Sol. The house is superior as a holiday villa - it is maintained to an exceptionally high standard and is furnished aesthetically and extremely comfortably. Additionally, with the loss of UK television in February 2014 many homes cannot now provide English TV. We have SMART TV with access to all digital TV as well as Netflix and Apple TV.In a perfect location, Sayalonga is ideally situated, breathtaking views to the sea and mountaines but not too far inland, in fact only a 20 minute drive with no tracks to contend with - tarmac all the way! The villa offers dramatic views down onto the village and over the myriad of other white villages dotted across the mountains opposite. There is a good view of the sea and it is even possible to see the rock of Gibraltar and as far as North Africa

“Super villa and wonderful location”
We travelled as a group of 6 friends and had a great time in this well presented villa. The road to the villa is winding but the views are amazing so well worth the 20 minute climb up the mountain. The villa is kept in great condition by the owners and furnished to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable. The outside space was perfect for us - plenty of good quality du beds and even pool towels provided. It was very easy to communicate with the owner, Lesley, who was always quick to respond to questions etc. We will definitely return next year as we had a fab holiday and we didn't want to go home!
We are pleased our home reached all your expectations and that you and your friends had a lovely holiday
“Lovely Villa with fantatic views”
Well equiped villa with great pool and views of mountains and across to the sea. Windy roads up to village of Sayalonga, and steep hill to villa. However road was tarmac/concrete so no real problem. We had lovely food in the restaurants on square in Sayalonga. We went to Alhambra in Granada and booked tickets on web site before we went. We visited a waterpark in Torre del Mar and visited after 4pm as it was cheaper. it suited us fine- not too big. We also had fabulous food in Torre del Mar, called Gastrobar Las Perlas on seafront. Great holiday. Thanks.
Thank you for your much appreciated review of Villa Jessica. We are delighted that you had a great holiday and hope to see you back again.
“What a view!”
We have been renting villas with pools in France, Italy and Portugal for about 20 years and this was without doubt the best one we have had so far. My husband wanted a view and we were not disappointed - we had 180 degree panorama sweeping round from the sea in the distance to the mountains. The location was perfect - 2 nice villages nearby with several opportunities for good eating and bigger attractions like the Alhambra palace suitable for a day trip. The coast was less than half an hour away but we preferred to spend our time at the villa relaxing around the pool. It was fantastic.
Always delighted to hear our guests had a great holiday. We also have rented many villas and know what we like, we try to replicate that in Villa Jessica
“Fantastic - I wish I could award 6 stars!”
This was an outstanding holiday in all respects - Lesley, the owner, was endlessly helpful from our very first contact, and was available throughout the stay by text and email, checking all was well, answering queries and making suggestions about places to go. Driving directions were very clear - a boon for a man who can get lost in his own bathroom - and were part of a really comprehensive package of detailed material sent before our departure. Villa Jessica itself is sublime - views to die for from practically everywhere, a delightful pool, an outstanding setting and an extraordinary degree of comfort and equipment. We take 2/3 villa holidays a year, and I cannot ever recall a place so well supplied with everything you might want. Indeed, many of the 'extras' we usually bring with us were redundant. The experience was that of staying in a lovingly cared for home rather a holiday let. We were at Jessica for three weeks, and I can honestly say that, in every previous holiday of this duration, I have had enough after 17 days - this time, I was deeply saddened to leave, and could have stayed another three weeks! The nearby villages of Sayalonga and Competa are delightful, and Juan, who barbecues fresh sardines at the beach bar in Algorobbo Costa, in an artist nonpareil. We will certainly return to Villa Jessica!
Thank you for your kind review. We do our best to ensure our clients are very happy when they arrive at their long awaited holiday destination and can appreciate a holiday they have worked hard for!
“Excellent villa, beautifull location!”
Have had the most wonderfull holiday at the Villa Jessica, beautifull accomodation in such a great location. A car a must to experiance the surrounding area but is so worth it!! Everything arranged so well by Leslie and help at hand if needed by Dave + Steve.
Thank you for great comments
“A super villa with the most wonderful views.”
A very clean and spacious villa with all the mod cons you could need. Would recommend hiring a car during your stay at this villa as walking to the village is not an easy one. Winding roads. Once at the villa you are treated to the most wonderful views. A lovely pool and an XBOX 360, along with DVDs to amuse the children. The caves at Nerja are definately worth a visit. The water park opposite the shopping mall was good and if you go mid afternoon it is half price. It closes at 7pm. A very relaxing holiday where you can do as little or as much as you like.
One of the down sides of great views is that there is a climb up whether on foot or by transport. It all makes it so worthwhile when at the villa though - not too high above sea level at about 500 metres but enough to get appreciation from the great views and a little exercise if you can motivate yourselves to walk on the tracks down to the village etc.
villa was gorgeous and very clean , had everything you could ask for pool, sat tv, loads of DVDs and X-Box for kids. The views were stunning we really couldn't of asked for better !! I can honestly say that we will be back - the sooner the better ! Also the villa owner Lesley was great - with a lot of help and advice ......thank you again Lesley !!
Always very pleased to get great reviews and makes all the effort put in by us and our maintenance guys so worthwhile
“Absolutely fantastic-views, accommodation, pool- all brilliant”
We have stayed in many villas but without doubt this is the best. The views are breathtaking. The villa is very private and quiet and we loved sitting outside at night watching the sun set behind the mountains opposite whilst waiting for the stars to come out. The villa was very clean, with lovely towels and bedding. Our young son loved the pool as we all did and we enjoyed the BBQ on several occasions. The near by village of Competa is beautiful and has a selection of lovely restaurants. Dealing with the owner has been very easy and she is very helpful. Wehoops to return soon.
We cherish our home in spain and delight in receiving such positive reviews from such respectful and caring clients.
“Stunning get away from it all location”
The booking process was very easy, all our questions answered promptly. We LOVED the location and the property too. It was just what we needed. The villa was located on a hillside with spectacular mountain views, also views to the sea. It was very quiet and not overlooked. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great holiday. The WiFi worked very well as did the television. The gardens and patio areas were clean and well stocked with beautiful Mediterranean plants. The pool was clean and well maintained. Really stunning when lit up at night. We loved the fact that it was private and not overlooked - we just wanted to get away from it all.
Another great review and the perfect clients who treated our home as their own.
“fabulous holidays in this smashing villa”
We just returned from two wonderful weeks in villa Jessica. We could not have been happier, everything we could think of was provided, both in- and outside of the villa. We loved the wonderful, clean, warm pool, the gorgeous views, the lovely plants in the garden and so much more. The kids enjoyed the x-box and the DVD-player, but also loved exploring the area, picking figs, limes and avocadoes. Dealing with Lesley, the owner, was a pleasure, she always replied promptly to all our questions. This is a lovely part of Spain and if we return here, we would definitely want to stay in villa Jessica again.
Delighted to continue to receive great reviews about our home and again, great clients. Thank you.
