Only a few minutes walk to the Attractions at Trecco Bay Park with an indoor swimming pool, outside jets and fountains, crazy golf, Childrens Park, Jungle Jims, Indoor Bowling, plus amusements and arcades. also a short walk to Coney Beach fun fair. Lots of other activities within a short car journey - Horse Riding at Ogmore Beach, Surfing and Kayaking at Rest Bay, Cycle Hire, Outdoor Adventures with quad biking, paintballing and lots more , or take in a round of Golf at Royal Porthcawl, Grove Golf Clubs all within a few minutes car ride away. or Just kick off those shoes and lay back and relax and watch the sea , listen to the waves all just a few minutes away, take a deckchair , and a picnic and spend the day lazing and chilaxing on the beach and watch the world go by.

Porthcawl is a lovely flat area and ideal for walking around with easy access to the town and the attractions of the fun fair as well as Trecco Bay Holiday Park all within easy walking access , if you want to travel to see the cities of Swansea or Cardiff these both fantastic cities are within a 30 min car journey , the property has easy access with the bus stops a walk away and the train stations of Pyle and Bridgend being a short car journey away . An Ideal base for your holiday , be it Spring Summer , Autumn or Winter so much to do and see in the area

Prior to your visit we keep in touch with you , giving you any location details or directions, so you make it to our property with ease. We keep in touch with you on check in day we make sure that we are at the property waiting for you to arrive. We meet you at the property and show you how things work etc , we will answer any questions you have regarding the area, things to do, place to go, places to eat, if you need anything just ask. We then give you the keys and allow you peaceful enjoyment of the property, but with the reassurance we are only a phone call away if you need anything just ask.

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at The Gateway as it was close to amenities and we were able to attend the firework display close by. Apartment was so clean and welcome basket was lovely! Thank you for letting us stay

Great entertainment in porthcawl saw some good bands .Location is great near beach ,town ,and lots of pubs had a lovely weekend.

Lovely spacious apartment. Loads of room for my husband two kids and myself. Fabulous welcome from Emma. Lovely surprise welcome pack wasn't expecting that. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Loved our little break away

Good location near the Beach and town no car required when there.There are some repaires and refurbishing that need to be done,i mentioned this to Kays mann,and he said that it is all planned,which is okay then.at the moment i could not recommend this to a friend,that is at the moment,when the repairs have been done then it will be okay.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review, yes our property is really central, and close to the beaches, town and the attractions, Yes our bathroom is about to undergo some major changes , even though our current bathroom has done us proud over the years , it is time for change , we have a lovely new double size walk in shower planned, complete with a new toilet a freestanding vanity unit and sink , with single modern mixer taps , nice new modern flooring and walling , we too cant wait to get it all done , but we are waiting for a little gap in our bookings , planning for November at the end of the season , yes we will take some nice new pictures then so don't worry, you can get to see the new bathroom before your next visit, the new shower will be much easier for you to use than the current bath and shower above , we too cant wait for its arrival , and are looking forward to getting it done , look forward to seeing you all again kindest regards Kay

Excellent apartment. Spacious, clean throughout and comfortable. We are a family of 5 with dog and it was more than enough room. Stayed 3 nights and didn't want to come back. The welcome basket of food was brilliant and plentiful, never been anywhere that has supplied one before. Nothing was too much trouble for Kay and Andrew. If we needed anything, they were sorting it out within minutes. Will be going again.

Highly recommend this apartment to anyone. Within walking distance (and I'm lazy) of Coney beach and trecco bay holiday park where you can use the facilities (some chargeable) my daughter who is a toddler loved the water jets there! Coney beach was gorgeous with donkey rides and horses. There is a Chinese takeaway over the road from the apartment for anyone wanting a take away or a coop again just down the road. Will definately stay in this apartment again. Thank you Kay and Hubby. Xxx

We stayed for three and a half weeks during December. The apartment catered for all our needs and the welcome basket was superb. When we had a problem with the heating Andrew was there to help within a few minutes. We would highly recommend this apartment.

How do damage deposits work?
