Welcome to Aunt Clara’s Cottage with it's VIEW of Port Townsend Bay and it's private wonderland garden.

Aunt Clara's Cottage is a MONTHLY rental with a DYNAMITE VIEW of Port Townsend Bay, the ferries, and the boat races.

From Aunt Clara’s everything in the Port Townsend National Historic District is easily walkable.

Park your car in front of the cottage then forget it.

It’s only a three minute walk to the Rose Theater and the DOWNTOWN stores and restaurants.

A four minute walk to Aldrich’s Market ( aka “The Center of the Universe”).

And two minutes to the UPTOWN shops and Saturday’s award winning Farmer’s Market.

About Aunt Clara's



Aunt Clara's is a three room 1940's cottage located in the Uptown National Historic District of Port Townsend.

Whether vacationing or house hunting, Aunt Clara's is a great place to call home while visiting the Olympic Peninsula.

Unfortunately there is no washer, dryer, or dishwasher in the cottage. But... there are two laundromats near by for your personal laundry.

Aunt Clara’s is a “SMOKE FREE” “PET FREE” property.

Maximum Occupancy 2 people. (Not suitable for children under 12)

Aunt Clara's Cottage has been a member of the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce for many years. Aunt Claras Cottage web site lists many comments from guests/friends.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Judith (the owner) a message.

If Judith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
