Nearby Pollensa and Alcudia are upmarket and cultured towns, both with several must-see sights and attractions. Pollensa has the 365 steps up to Calvari where there is a small chapel, while Alcudia has the historic castle walls. For those that enjoy a game of golf there are 2 superb course very close by. Firstly, Golf Pollensa with view across the bay of Pollensa, a definite must-see! Secondly, the affluent suburb of Alcanada just outside alcudia where you will find Golf Alcanada which is on the coast and is owned by Porsche.

Further details indoors

On entering Villa Garballo, you are greeted by a large and open entrance hallway, off which, is a well equipped and modern dining kitchen with all the necessary appliances. Also off the entrance hallway is the dining area and spacious lounge with twin patio windows which lead out onto the covered outdoor terrace.

Also on the ground floor are 3 of the bedrooms which again are of good proportions and complimented by two bathrooms. Moving upstairs, the first floor id reserved solely for the fourth bedroom and shower room, which is more like a small studio apartment. Off this bedroom, there is also access to the private roof terrace which benefits from uninterrupted and panoramic views of the mountains and countryside and also the swimming pool.

Further details outdoors

Villa Garballo is quite a new property, being constructed approximately 8 years ago and gives a very inviting feel upon walking through the gates and has off road parking on the driveway for 2-3 cars. The perimeter of the plot is screened by trees and bushes, making the garden and pool area , at the side and rear of the property almost hidden from the outside world. It is a very well designed and laid out property which allows you to relax in your own private paradise and escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.

The Balearic Islands region

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic islands located to the east of Spain in the Mediterranean sea measuring approximately 60km x 60km. It is a diverse island with many different attractions and a variety of setting and atmospheres to explore. The majority of visitors to the island go for the sun, sea and sand, heading to the coastal and more touristic resorts.

However, Mallorca has many small and quaint villages, particularly further inland that are non-touristic and retain the charm and character of a typical Spanish or Mallorcan town. Mallorca also has a very diverse landscape with many mountains, valleys and torrents which dry up in the summer and make for fantastic excursions.

Mallorca also has many fantastic restaurants and attractions that make great day trips such as:
La Reserva - A large nature reserve in the South West of the island with a wide range of animals including bears and birds of prey
Several Water Parks - There are 3 or 4 large water parks on the island, all with great rides and fun things to do.
Bodegas - A bodega is the spanish word for a vineyard or other place where wine is made, there are several on the island and you are able to visit these and taste the various wines they have on offer.
Boat trips - At many of the major coastal resorts there are great boat trips to go on. Short ones which offer a 2hour cruise around the bay, or longer ones if you prefer a full day on the water. Nearby Puerto Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa both have a range of boat trips on offer.

Pollenca

Pollensa is an affluent and cultured town with plenty of history. In the summer time especially, there are many festivals held in various locations around the town, including the (friendly) re-enactment of the battle of the Moors and Christians and also concerts which are held in one of the towns large squares.

The main square in Pollensa is a very nice place to visit, it has a great atmosphere and is surrounded by bars and restaurants and on a Sunday morning, there is a large fruit and vegetable market where the local farmers sell their produce. The other nearby town of Sa Pobla also has a full calendar of events in summer, with parades and concerts.
GOLF Pollensa is only a 5 minute drive from Villa Garballo and Golf Alcanada approx just 20 minutes away with views across the sea.
There is also a PAINTBALL course just 5 minutes away and in nearby Puerto de Alcudia and Puerto de Pollensa, there is a wide range of watersport activites such as windsurfing, scuba diving, jet ski hire, along with boat rides and also karting.
