“Perfect Holiday” We had an amazing holiday at this property. Comfortable beds, brilliant shower & perfect location for fantastic walks & wonderful meals out. Saw black vultures circling on the thermals & in the Biniaraix gorge we saw, as well as heard, nightingales. Complete heaven & I’d love to return.

“Pristine perfect quality finca” We have just returned from a fantastic week staying at Can Sampol The communication and help from both Toni (the owner) and Inez, from booking through to leaving the villa this morning has been brilliant. The villa was beautiful, very well cared for and spotlessly clean on our arrival, the pool was cleaned daily by Toni very early in the morning, so not to intrude, and on some mornings we were left some traditional Majorcan delicacies for breakfast. The furnishings were good quality and the villa was very well equipped, plenty of sun loungers, crockery, cutlery for 8 people. The bikes were very good and Toni sorted a minor issue we had with one the same day. We did not hire a car and walked to town and the beach regularly which are both probably 30 minutes walk and also into Fornalutx , again 30 to 40 mins walk through stunning scenery. We would definitely recommend this villa but if staying with elderly or small children the a car would be necessary

Comfort, views and location.

The flat was extremely comfortable with fantastic views towards the mountains. It was very clean with everything you need ie plenty of dishes, washing machine, fridge/freezer plus all the other bits and pieces such as washing liquid, spare bin bags etc. The terrace is large with a dining table, plenty of seating and a couple of sun beds. The location is second to none for the beach, restaurants and walking. The bus stop is in the port but still only 10-15 minutes walk. It is everything you could wish for in a holiday apartment with comfort, cleanliness, location and convenience. While it is quite a way from the airport it still only takes 40 minutes by taxi. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Port of Soller. … see more
CAN FABIOL - Villa for 2 people in Soller
Can Fabiol is a wonderful little finca

We have just returned from a week at Can Fabiol. It was an extremely hot week, even the locals were too hot so the pool was an absolute luxury. We were in and out of it every day, several times a day. We took the tram to Port de Soller one day which we have done previously but it was much hotter there. Cooler up the hill and with a breeze and because we had the pool we had a really relaxing and enjoyable week. The owner met us at the property at nearly midnight and returned 2-3 times during the week to clean the pool and patio area. We found delicious home grown fruit in the fridge on arrival and his lovely wife popped by on the Sunday with freshly picked figs. They were a delightful couple. Plenty of towels provided for indoor and outdoor use so space left in cases for lovely presents for home which we purchased in Soller from the shops and the fantastic Soller market on the Saturday. Waiters at the restaurants were great fun and helped us with our Spanish. Homerti were excellent from booking our trip to coming home. We had a problem with the water turning off but a call to them and we knew what to do to get it back on and they reported it to the owner. Some booking sites stated ‘must have a car’ but we were very content with the 10 minute walk down the hill to Soller town. The tram runs every 30 minutes all day from the town and the lovely train runs regularly to Palma. Taxi’s also readily available. Taxi drivers to and from the airport were very friendly and helpful. We realised during the week that there was a luggage storage facility in Palma so we asked the taxi company if they could take us to Palma instead of the airport so we could spend a few hours in Palma before catching the A1 bus to the airport. They were happy to do that for us and we had 3 or 4 hours in Palma. The only reason we have rated Can Fabiol a 4 and not a 5 was because the facilities inside were a bit rustic. We advised Homerti there was only one wine glass. We didn’t want the owners to think we had broken a glass if they weren’t aware one had been broken previously and a spatula would have been handy when cooking burgers on bbq/outside kitchen. There were a few coals left in the bottom of the sack which was enough for 2 small bbq’s. We weren’t sure whether coals were provided or if they had been purchased by a previous guest. Would have been jolly heavy to carry up the hill from the town. A wonderful time and we would definitely return. … see more

Lovely villa with amazing views.

We have just returned from a great holiday in Soller. The villa is absolutely lovely, set amongst the most breathtaking views. The only downside to being in the mountains is the climb up to it. We had real trouble with taxis refusing to go up the drive. The taxi driver we were recommended also nearly gave up one night. It is listed as being steep and it is definitely something to consider when booking. This also proved a problem lugging the rubbish bins up and down. Which you do need to do daily due to the amount of ants there are. It would also have been helpful to have a separate bin for recycling as you have to sort through it all once at the bottom of the drive. The gardener Jaime was present a lot through the week who was pleasant and the owners were in contact throughout our stay. It is really a very beautiful villa and the grounds are immaculately kept. The pool area is really something else! Soller itself is lovely and we would love to return there. … see more

Perfect Location

Perfect location to beach, bars, restaurants and marina. Tram stop bottom of street and bus stop 5-10 minute walk away. Apartment very well equipped, plenty of space over the two floors and spotlessly clean. Bonus of having your own private outdoor space for dining alfresco or soaking up the rays. We spent our honeymoon (May 15th to May 29th) with friends in this fantastic finca. We were there for a full 14 days. The finca is located above Soller, a great place with many shops (Eroski supermarket). The journey to the finca is exciting. Note: The navigation system of our rental car could not find the address, so we drove with Google Maps. We were able to find the way well here. The streets are getting narrower and then it's uphill. If you think it can't go any further, you're practically at the door. The house number is 6 and at the gate is "SE Selrana" Simply open the gate and then continue to the gate in front of the finca. The handover of the key worked very well. We called the owner when we left the airport. The owner's father was already waiting for us. Then you can't get out of amazement. The originally left garden invites you to linger. The pool is super nice and there are also loungers and a table with chairs available. The view is enormous. An automatic filter system is available. We were able to use the pool often as it shines on the sun all afternoon. A covered terrace is available here. On the second day we had no warm water in the morning. However, this was fixed immediately after calling the owner. 5 rooms and 5 bathrooms and 2 kitchens (each with a dishwasher). The equipment in the kitchen e.g. is completely sufficient for 10 people. The rooms are nicely decorated and each room has its own bathroom. In addition to the 2 rooms in the upper area, a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks is shared. The home theater room is cozy with high-quality electronic equipment (Bose). From two of the three terraces, you can wonderfully look at the lighthouse in Port Sóller on the west coast. There are 2 donkeys and sheep in the finca. It was a joy for the children. The two donkeys come to the gate. You should hurry here when driving in, otherwise the donkeys will come to the property. Halfway through the two-week vacation, the sheets were changed with fresh towels and the house was cleaned. Overall it was a super nice vacation in a breathtaking finca.
