“Great apartment in lovely, quiet destination” Antoni, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed, however he still managed to meet us at the apartment when we arrived to show us around. The apartment is very well equipped, with everything you would need for a short stay, including a good WI-FI internet connection, everything you would need in the kitchen/dining area, air conditioning, central heating and a safe. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. It benefits from a private balcony as well as a roof terrace with sun loungers and a dining area. The shared swimming pool is lovely - it was cleaned twice in the week we stayed - and also hardly used by the other apartment owners (though this was October).
Cala San Vicente is a lovely, relatively quiet destination. There are three small beaches and two or three small shops within walking distance of the apartment, as well as a few restaurants. For larger shopping we'd recommend Eroski - there are two on the Puerto Pollensa-Cala San Vicente road.
If coming here you could consider not using a car. You can pre-book a bus from Palma airport to Cala San Vicente or a taxi. The local bus service from Cala San Vicente to Puerto Pollensa is very good. Many people seem to use the local taxi service instead of public transport. There are a lot of available taxis and fixed prices mean you know exactly what you can expect to pay, though you should always check the price with the driver before getting in.
One word of caution. If considering a visit to Formentor beach (which is really worth it - it's lovely) then we would strongly recommend NOT driving. Instead, you can drive or take a taxi to Puerto Pollensa, from where you can take a boat to the beach. The road to Formentor beach from Puerto Pollensa starts calmly enough, but once you start driving into the mountains it becomes extremely twisting and if, like us, you meet a double-decker coach coming the other way, it can be very scary!
“The best house we have stayed at in Pollenca” In the recent past I have spent several weeks during summer in Pollenca with my extended family. Without any doubt, Saltamontes is the best large house we have stayed in. The elevated position means you always have a breeze which is welcome on the hottest days in August. It is a very short drive to both Pollenca old town and the beaches at Porto Pollenca. The house itself is immaculate, Sky TV was a big plus for the kids and the cleaners/gardeners were very discrete but helpful when they attended the property. A wonderfull house for a holiday with family.
“Perfect...we hope to return very soon.” We have just returned from a brilliant week at Bonnix. From the moment we arrived we enjoyed the comfort and location of this fabulous house. With fine attention to detail, the owner has created a glorious holiday home that offers lots of extras and a level of service not normally enjoyed from a holiday let.
The views from the lovely garden extend across farmland to to the sea and the mountains offering the most beautiful and peaceful of environments. It is not overlooked and is very quiet.
We rent houses on a regular basis, sometimes up to four a year and this is most definitely at the top of our list, we enjoyed every moment and hope to return soon.
The largest and most exciting of the Balearic islands, Majorca is a haven for sun seekers hoping to capture the laid-back, Mediterranean lifestyle on its legendary beaches. With dozens of soft, sandy coves linking historic cities with party towns and sleepy marinas, a trip to Majorca is the quintessential island escape.
The Best Sunbathing
Villas and apartments in Majorca are best by the beach - you can’t help but leave more sun-kissed than when you arrived. The Playa de Muro is the most famous: glorious white sand leads down to a quaint wooden jetty that lets you walk out over the clear blue sea.
Great Days Out
Majorca has a rich past waiting to be discovered in the rugged landscape. You’ll never forget the winding drive up to Cap de Formentor, and the view across the dramatic cliffs of the north coast. The capital, Palma, has treasures of its own: La Seu cathedral, for example, is a must-see.
If quiet sunbathing and sleepy villas aren’t for you, you’ll be pleased to know Majorca is home to Magaluf, the Balearic party capital. Whether you plan to take on a water park, join a speed boat tour or sample the notorious nightlife, there’s never a dull moment.

Just Fabulous-great location, spotlessly clean. The list goes on
This place is simply amazeballs. With contemporary interior and all you need including a dishwasher and washing machine there’s not a single thing we can fault about it. The roof terrace is lovely at any time of the day and the location is perfect and just around the corner from many great restaurants, shops and bars. A short walk to the beach the city has something for everyone and the old town where can Savellà is is the perfect location to stay. We will be back. Oh and the price point is spot on! …
