Las Brisas is a large complex of bungalows originally developed by Wimpey with some of the properties being time-shared. Due to its efficient management and superb facilities it has for many years been granted R C I Gold Crown Resort status. The site facilities include a well-stocked shop, snack bar/restaurant and bar plus pool tables all of which are poolside. Seating for family entertainment which takes place several times per week in the evenings is also by the bar area and has been enclosed by glass panels so that it is available for use all year round. There is also a big screen TV for important sports fixtures and a separate games room for children. A children’s playground is located by the pool and tennis courts which are floodlit at night also add to the facilities. The pool area is immense with padded sun loungers and thatched sunshades provided for your comfort. The swimming pool is very large and there is a separate children’s pool, which are both heated.
The position of this villa is quiet but convenient being in the heart of the complex away from the hubbub of the bar but only about 300 metres from the pool. It is a semi detached villa with an enlarged patio to enjoy the sun throughout the day and the outlook is onto a big beautiful mature garden. A patio set and sun loungers all with thick cushions are provided for your comfort. Inside the villa is modern and comfortable and quite different from other villas on the complex. The lounge has 2 leather sofas and good lighting + a library of books The bedrooms are laid out as 1 double room (with king size bed) with an en-suite shower room, 1 twin room with a bathroom next door, all the beds have very recently been replaced. Kitchen facilities in the villa include oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Other facilities include satellite TV, DVD player, iPod docking station, CD player, safe, hairdryer and iron. This is a popular villa with both families and couples and is now one of the best properties on this complex with its modern stylish makeover.
Free wi-fi is available in the villa and the complex reception building.
There are air conditioning/heating units in both bedrooms and heating available in all areas for the winter months.
Bath and hand towels for use within the villa are provided but beach towels are not. Pool towels are provided for exclusive use around the Las Brisas pool which also indicates your entitlement to be there.

The Canary Islands region
Lanzarote is a unique island of spectacular scenery and stark contrasts. The landscape is volcanic and very different to the other Canary Islands. It is located approximately 40 miles from the Moroccan coast in the Atlantic Ocean and about 4 hours flying time from the U.K. The weather is fine and warm throughout the year with very little rainfall and temperatures varying between 21 and 34 degrees. The buildings are mainly low rise in complexes with garden areas and there are many inland villages untouched by time. The whole island gives a feeling of relaxation and quality. There are many interesting places to visit - the Timanfaya National Park is a must. Here you can take a camel ride to see the volcanic landscape or take the interesting bus tour around the craters. In the central parts of the island you will see the very unusual way local farmers cultivate their land and to the north Los Jameos is a unique system of underground tubes to be visited. The house of Caesar Manrique is particularly interesting, as an architect and an artist he is responsible for the unique way in which Lanzarote has developed. The best windsurfing areas are to the north of the island, whereas the south is more sheltered and has lovely beaches of golden sand. The Papagayo beaches are famous throughout the Canaries for their unspoilt natural beauty and crystal clear sea. There are 2 golf courses on the island.
Playa Blanca is situated on the southern tip of the island, approximately a 40 minute drive from the airport. It benefits from the best weather on the island and superb views over the straits of La Bocaina to Fuerteventura. The resort has expanded along the coast but the buildings are mainly high quality villas and hotels. The village centre is pedestrianised with landscaping of the main thoroughfare and many shops and restaurants along the promenade and through the centre. . The origins of the fishing village it once was are still in evidence and provide the resort with a heart and character. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed with the focus on the nightlife being in the restaurants, local bars or hotels. Children are welcomed everywhere and entertainment is provided for them in the evening in the hotels. Daytime activities are usually centred around the beach, the pool or a variety of boat trips which can be taken from the harbour or the Marina Rubicon. There is a 2x weekly market at the Marina and many quality shops & restaurants. Ferries leave regularly throughout the day across to Fuerteventura and the crossing takes approximately 40 minutes.

"Excellent villa ideally located"
We are repeat visitors to this villa on the very excellent complex of Las Brisas. The villa is spacious and comfortable and furnished in a contemporary style. A very positive feature of the villa is it's large terrace which has sun in late February/March until 6pm. It's location on the site is fairly tucked away but at the same time the wonderful large and warm pool is quickly accessible, as are the shops and restaurants in the resort of Playa Blanca. We have already booked our 2014 return visit.

"Excellent villa on an excellent complex"
We had a briliant time, the villa was excellent, really well situated on the complex, overlooking the nice oval outside. Everything was clean and tidy, both in the villa and all around the complex, the staff do a great job of keeping everything spick and span. Special highlight was the big pool, great for swimming, we used it every day! Everyone was friendly and helpful, reception people were great and the maintenance staff friendly and polite. Special mention to the pool attendant on during weekdays - he was lovely. We would definitely come again if we choose Playa Blanca, we think it was the nicest villa complex that we saw during our stay, and we think no 83 is one of the best situated on the complex.

"Our best family holiday ever"
We've recently returned from a fantastic two week break at Las Brisas having in stayed at Villa 83 on the complex. My wife and I plus two children aged 6 & 8 had a great time with the Villa in excellent condition and located in a quiet area of the complex. I can not praise the staff at Las Brisas enough with Miguel the lifeguard always ensuring the day around the pool is never dull and amusing the kids with his antics !!!. We eat out every evening although there is a good bbq at the villa, however the kids were always in a rush to come back to Las Brisas and play with their new found friends, allowing us to relax with other grown ups and watch the entertainment laid on. This was our second visit to Las Brisas and we will be back next year as the location and value for money could not be better. Finally, a big thank you to Christine at Lanzarote First who made the holiday arrangements without any hitches and ensured a great trip was had by all.

"Great holiday in well maintained villa"
We were impressed by the villa- it was the 3rd we have stayed in at the Las Brisas complex and by far the best. It has benefitted from an upgrade- the kitchen, living areas and bathrooms are finished well, the bedrooms have ample storage space and the terrace is large, sunny and in a quiet area, but still very close to the pool etc. Only negative is the double bed could have been better, but overall very pleased and we have re-booked. We choose Las Brisas over its expensive alternatives like Yaiza because the pool is large and always warm, it is perfect for kids, and there is always a lifeguard. Location is fantastic too, 5 minutes to restaurants and a beach, and with a shop, good bar and play area on site what more could you need?

"Great villa in a fantastic location!"
I think that the fact that we have returned here year after year, says it all! The villa is spacious, well equiped and benefits from recent updating. Approximately a minute from the pool, it is in a great location on the complex. The complex itself has everything we need and the bars and restaurants are only a five minute walk away. I hope to continue holidaying here and my children have no desire to try anywhere else!
