With 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-concept, soccer field-sized (almost) living area, up to 12 people will find plenty of room here - all with a lovely view of the Acropolis and Mount Lykavittos.
A TERRACE TO REMEMBER
The landscaped terrace (shared with the next-door Beta Penthouse) is our pride and joy. It has outdoor dining, a BBQ grill, and nap-worthy lounging sofas that take full advantage of the view. At nightfall, the terrace view glitters with city lights and moon-washed Mount Lykavittos. We'll even cater a full breakfast or host a wine-tasting for your group out here. Talk to us!
And ask us about renting both AlphaPlus AND Beta to accommodate an even larger group of up to 24 people - with this arrangement the gorgeous terrace is all yours.
AN AMERICAN-STYLE RENOVATION
In Greece, the definition of "rehabbed" is a bit different than ours. For Greeks it means "slapped on a new coat of paint/installed new kitchen cabinets." But Greek Vacation Rentals' version of rehabbed means totally transformed. At the Acropolis View Alphaplus Penthouse, upgrades include all-new, American-style plumbing (TP flushing encouraged!), plus brand-new appliances and Sealy Posturpedic mattresses imported from the US and wrapped in buttery-soft, high thread-count linens.
Foodies love our kitchen, which we stock to the heavens with small appliances, cookware, and other gadgets. Even a multi-course holiday feast is no trouble here! After a long, leisurely shared meal on the terrace, a dishwasher is on hand to help with clean-up.
We also have a full-size washer and dryer for your clothes, too - a rarity among Athens vacation rentals.
3 BEDROOMS/3 BATHS
We have 3 bedrooms, with beds for 10 people plus a sofabed for 2 more. The master suite has a King bed and a twin, making it a great option for a family with a youngin' they want to keep close. The indulgent master bath has an American-style bathtub/shower combination with an extra deep jetted tub and hydro massage shower jets.
The 2nd bedroom is also family-friendly, with a queen bed and two twins. A 2nd bathroom on the main floor has a walk-in shower. All bathrooms have Organic Greek bath products and fluffy robes.
Upstairs, a 3rd bedroom - also a suite - has a queen bed, a twin bed and a walk-in shower in the attached bath.
Our downtown residential neighborhood is in the thick of things! Here, locals sip coffee under shade trees at the cafes and watch their kids play in the "platieas" or "squares," then browse the farmers markets for dinner ingredients.
From the AlphaPlus Penthouse, you can walk to the historic center of Athens - or take the trolley just 4 or 5 stops - and experience some of the best museums in downtown, like the Benaki, the Cylcadic, the National Art Gallery, as well as Syntagma Square and the National Gardens.

TWO optional lock off studios add a third bedroom and bathroom and a fourth bedroom and bathroom, making this stunning penthouse the perfect home for family on holiday and a real bargain for 3 or 4 couples travelling together - each has their own bedroom and bathroom, with added bonuses not found in any of Athens finest hotels - This penthouse is the PERFECT hotel alternative.

Our Acropolis View terrace is point central for our relaxing guests. Relax in the outdoor living room overlooking the Parthenon and the Acropolis along with the rest of the city skyline or fire up the bbq for a mixed grill or traditional Greek "paidakia" (lamb chops!). Catch some rays on one of the sunbeds or enjoy a frappe or glass of wine in the late afternoon.
And although we have a fully stocked kitchen, if you don't feel like cooking there's lots of options for food delivery so you can enjoy a prepared Greek feast al fresco.

“Family and friends loving Athens”
Our five night stay in the Acropolis View A&B was wonderful. All thirteen of us were very comfortable with the accommodations. We travelled from the United States and for the first time that all 13 of us have been together considering that we reside in Las Vegas, NV, Reno, NV and Houston, TX. We all enjoyed the city of Athens, the culture, the locals and of course the food! The penthouse is located near the center of Athens that it was easy to get to the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Temple of Zeus, and the old Olympic Stadium as well Plaka (souvenir shopping). I have extended family that lives in Greece so it was easy for us to get together. I want to thank Carole and Basil for taking the time with all the questions I had prior to arrival as well as thank Nadia for her help while we were staying at the penthouse. Nine of my travelling group visited Greece for the first time and they enjoyed it so much that they want to return. Thanks again for a wonderful experience from beginning to end from all of us. Tom.

My family and I are talking with my in laws to go in Greece for a trip as we have some cousins overthere. Having two young children (8 an 5) we decide to rent a flat in stead of going in a hotel. The contact and the level of reactivity and professionalim of Carole (the owner) have been amazing i have to say. She put us in teh best condition to feel confident at teh time to sign our rental contract. What can I say about the flat...it is just perfect...the view from the rooth is crazy, the location is perfect, anything you need in terms of food, shopping, taxi, bus....is down the stair. I only can add that the pictures appearing on TripAdvisor are far below the reality. The flat is 100 times nicer in real!! :-) Also, special thanks to Nadia (the local manager) who is always ready to help if you have any question. A BIG THANKS FOR THE FANTASTIC SOUVENIRS WE WILL KEEP FOR EVER AFTER OUR STAY IN YOUR GREAT APPARTMENT!
“Don't bother to look at anything else.”
The apartment: Large, spacious & has everything & anything you could need from cooking utensils to large fluffy towels. Alpha Plus is on the 6th floor & shares the entire top floor with another apartment (the Beta- which is also very nice). The only thing above you is the gorgeous roof top deck. The apartments is located on a busy street. However, the owner does have another apartment that is on a pedestrian street if you are not interested in street noise. The pictures do not represent the apartment- it is considerably nicer!! The location: Direct access to many restaurants, shops & quaint cafes right outside the front door. You are away from the touristy area @ the Acropolis which allows for a more authentic Athens experience. It is about a 30 minute walk from the Acropolis. If you would rather take a cab- they are everywhere & cost $5 one way. The owners: Warm personable & genuinely want you to have a great experience. Nadia- the property manager lives 2 block away & is very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. Carole, the owner was honest & quickly responded to all/any requests. When I ask Carole for her recommendation regarding which apartment to rent- she called the Alpha the "wow" apartment. I definitely agree.

The apartment was spacious. Our family of 6 had PLENTY of room. The owners make you feel as if you are at home. They provided great tips, maps and neighborhood restaurants. I would definitely recommend this to friends looking for a place to stay in Athens
“Excellent Accommodations and Tour Assistance”
10 of us stayed at the Acropolis Alpha Plus apartments in June of 2013. We found the apartments absolutely perfect. They were immaculate upon our arrival and everything was explained to us by Carole and Nadia(?). Lots of room for our group and everyone commented on how nice they were. It was very nice to come back at the end of the day, sit on either the balcony or the rooftop terrace and just relax with a glass of wine. Fantastic experience. Also big thanks to Carole for arranging our tours, they were superb and went exactly as expected. Overall the Athens experience was fantastic and it was all due to Carole and her willingness to help. If we go back to Athens, I will definitely be speaking with Carole again. Thanks so much!!!!

Words cannot describe how perfect this home is. We enjoyed our stay very much, the house has everything you need, it is very well appointed to accomodate a large family. The terrace is amazing, the views are spectacular, and Carole was amazing, she always answered my Emails right back, when we got there she gave us recommendations on dinning options and always made sure we were taken care off, she arranged all transportation and tours. Cannot wait to go back to Athens and stay at this amazing place.

The apartment is incredibly nice,the view for the terrace is amazingly beautiful,especially at night since you can see the entire well lit Acropolis from the distance.We are extremely happy with the apartment in terms of functionally design and modern equipments.That was the best decision to rent the apartment.
“All the comforts of home in a great location”
The rooftop garden with barbecue, views of sunrise/sunset was tops. The kitchen supplies were good and the welcome treat basket a nice touch. Plentiful, comfortable seating. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms clean and supplied with products. Bathrobes available. It was great to have Wifi access and free use of the phone to call home. Another plus was the wash machine/drier.
Apartment was great. Every detail for a seamless holiday had been covered by Carole and her team including drivers, tour guides & apartment manager. We travelled as a family group of 10 and had both the Alpha and Beta apartments that we're joined by a small corridor.
