“Great way to visit athens.” I've booked repeatedly with Greek Vacation Rentals and I'm never disappointed. The apartments are very attractive & comfortable. The apartments have everything a traveler for business or pleasure might need. The surrounding neighborhood is the athens equivalent to Lincoln Park in Chicago or the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Walk out your door you're in modern athens and short walk or taxi ride your in ancient Greece! Back to the apartment and post the whole experience to Facebook. I've spent many a happy hour drinking a glass of wine on the terrace.

“HOME away from home” I booked Acropolis Blue for a group of 6 people (3 couples). Initially, the group felt that the apartment was expensive compared with hotel rooms they suggested (especially after the credit card and exchange rate premium added). I wanted something much better than small hotel rooms. Their opinion changed when they stepped into the apartment. The first comment was it definitely is worth the money we paid and they just loved it. It essentially is a HOME with 3 en-suite bedrooms. (In fact, there is a fourth one that we did not use.) We enjoyed the usage of the large balcony for relaxation and breakfast. The roof top had a view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed sunset there too. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Just like HOME away from home. Good location with lots of good restaurants nearby. Nadia gave us good advice. Oh, we had breakfast in the recommended little bakery three times during our stay. We had alll our dinners around the apartment area during our stay except the day we had a day trip out to Cape Sounion for sunset. I like to sum up our dining experience as good food, cheap, and FUN. Friendly and helpful service. Carole responded to all requests and questions I had during the booking process. Nadia who welcomed us at the apartment and Nick who took us out for two day trips were just great. Overall, we enjoyed staying in Acropolis Blue and the excellent services provided.

“A wonderful stay in a lovely home with homely and gracious peopl” We had a lovely time in the cottage. It provides more than what is said on the advert. It has a big garden and a spacious environment. Liana and family are lovely, kind and hospitable people. They love to have people around and as frequent travellers, this is the first place my family and i felt soo welcome. She makes lovely dishes and her cottage is cosy, big, clean and well equiped. Its a great place for children too and very close to amenities. Its highly recommended and we will be there again in the near future. I would love to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to liana, her husband, Dimitris and Stella for an unforgettable Holiday. You are all great people!!! God bless you all.

“Excellent Accommodations and Tour Assistance” 10 of us stayed at the Acropolis Alpha Plus apartments in June of 2013. We found the apartments absolutely perfect. They were immaculate upon our arrival and everything was explained to us by Carole and Nadia(?). Lots of room for our group and everyone commented on how nice they were. It was very nice to come back at the end of the day, sit on either the balcony or the rooftop terrace and just relax with a glass of wine. Fantastic experience. Also big thanks to Carole for arranging our tours, they were superb and went exactly as expected. Overall the Athens experience was fantastic and it was all due to Carole and her willingness to help. If we go back to Athens, I will definitely be speaking with Carole again. Thanks so much!!!!

“Great for a family” Nikos, the owner of the apartment, was extremely caring of our needs. He will pick up from the airport (for a fee). A taxi from the airport cost approx 35 euros. We caught a taxi to the Acropolis Museum (10 euros), but there is a local bus service. There is a rooftop terrace with great views of the Acropolis. We travelled as a three generation family of 7 which was a bit tight for the apartment, but for a couple of nights it was a very homely base. (Sydney, Australia)
