You'll love relaxing in our spa hydromassage shower or jacuzzi style whirlpool tub and wrapping yourself dry in our provided bath robes after a long day of exploring the historical center of Athens or climbing around the ruins at Delphi or Ancient Corinth.
Enjoy dinner al fresco on the private veranda with a sneek peak of the Parthenon atop the Acropolis rock or explore our neighborhood where Athenians gather for coffee at the end of the day.
In the morning you'll appreciate having coffee at the breakfast counter, the dining table or on the veranda as your group plans the new day's activities with the help of the trip tips we provide.
The Attica region
Explore Attica, Delphi, the Peloponnese, and the islands all from your comfortable home base in Athens. Why both packing and unpacking when you can venture out to the port of Pireaus and catch a flying dolphin to Hydra or Aegina and be back in your own comfortable bed that night?
Delphi is a great day trip, visit the lovely mountain village of Arahova en route - we can even arrange a driver for your trip, or help you reserve a car and do it on your own with our provided maps! The Argoloid peninsula is the perfect day trip for everyone: Archeology, beaches, wineries and great food, make this a day to please everyone, while getting you back to your comfortable Sealy bed that night.
Historical and modern Athens at your feet! While the historical centre is just a 10 - 15 minute walk from the penthouse, en route you will pass the Old Olympic Stadium, Hadrien's Arch and the Temple of Zeus, Syntagma Square and the changing of the guard in from of the Parliment. You can also visit the President and Prime Minister's homes en route to Syntagma, and join the Evzones as they march to their positions in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier!!
Trendy and chic Kolonaki is located just a 10 minute walk from the penthouse, and en route you might want to visit the National Art Gallery, the Byzantine Museum, the War Museum (great for airplane enthusiasts!), the Benaki Museum and the Museum of Cycladic Art.
At your feet is the vibrant Imittou shopping district. A double wide, boulevard type street, with one side pedestrian, is lined with trees and cafes and is the place for an afternoon "volta" with the locals. Two indoor movie houses and two outdoor movie theaters, for summer films under the stars. Cafes and restaurans, great shopping and even three farmer's markets each week make this the perfect home away from home in the centre of Athens.

"HOME away from home"
I booked Acropolis Blue for a group of 6 people (3 couples). Initially, the group felt that the apartment was expensive compared with hotel rooms they suggested (especially after the credit card and exchange rate premium added). I wanted something much better than small hotel rooms. Their opinion changed when they stepped into the apartment. The first comment was it definitely is worth the money we paid and they just loved it. It essentially is a HOME with 3 en-suite bedrooms. (In fact, there is a fourth one that we did not use.) We enjoyed the usage of the large balcony for relaxation and breakfast. The roof top had a view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed sunset there too. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and maintained. Just like HOME away from home. Good location with lots of good restaurants nearby. Nadia gave us good advice. Oh, we had breakfast in the recommended little bakery three times during our stay. We had alll our dinners around the apartment area during our stay except the day we had a day trip out to Cape Sounion for sunset. I like to sum up our dining experience as good food, cheap, and FUN. Friendly and helpful service. Carole responded to all requests and questions I had during the booking process. Nadia who welcomed us at the apartment and Nick who took us out for two day trips were just great. Overall, we enjoyed staying in Acropolis Blue and the excellent services provided.

"Perfect Apartment in Pangrati""
My husband and I were delighted with accommodations in Acropolis Blue. The apartment is extremely clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. Carol arranged for taxi to and from airport which was just wonderful for us. My husband is in a wheelchair, so he was delighted over the accessible shower and room to move around in the apartment. We were in the apartment for 9 nights; I cannot find fault with one thing about the apartment. There were so many coffee shops and eateries almost at our our door, and yet our accommodations were quiet and beautiful. We stayed for nine nights and were sorry to leave. Hope to stay there again in the future!

"A beautiful, comfortable apartment, right in the local life of Athens!"
Acropolis Blue is a very comfortable, beautiful apartment, touched by an artsy creativity that makes one feel at home. It is set right in Pagrati and has easy walking access to touristy places as well as practical stores, cafes and restaurants. Walk several blocks and you can tour around the ancient Acropolis and go to the Acropolis Museum, or simply go for a walk and explore the city. Public transportation is an easy way to go as well! There are taxis, trams, and buses available around the city, but personally, I think walking is a better way to experience the city. In the apartment, there is free Wi-fi available as well a computer. Each room has a corded phone and a remote for controlling personal air conditioning. This is very convenient and pleasant when it is hot out. The best part of my stay there was probably the location (the downside of which is only that it is directly above a road that can be kind of loud, like in any bustling city). I would reccomend this apartment to those who want a nice vacation rental in Athens that has room enough for family and/or friends.

"Family Vacation Excellence"
Incredible, delightful, helpful, useful, beautiful, spacious! All of these words do not adequately describe the beautiful home setting that Carole and Basil have created for their visitors to Athens. I am an experienced traveler that has stayed in the cheapest to the expensive. I have planned trips myself and I have used travel agents. I have used many online service to find those special places for my two girls (4 & 8) and my husband. The four of us are not hard to please but easy to spoil. By far this is the best online experience I have had in the last two years of traveling. When I found the accommodations provided by the Kezios I didn't realize I wasn't just renting a space for my family (six of us in our group included my mom and dad) but I was about to embark on an experience of a life time. Our apartment was beautifully decorated and very functional for our family. I don't know how many times I have rented an apartment with Satellite only to realize that no one knew how to work it or find English channels to watch. We had a fully stocked ready to start feeding our hungry family kitchen including a welcome basket of goodies and treats. It was nice not to have to drag a computer with us as one was provided for our stay. Also in the apartment were guide books, everyone in the neighborhood knew the owners of our apartment and the store was literally right across the street. The beds are to die for and every night we were so tired and the beds just hugged us good night. Carole takes a lot of pride in knowing Athens and it is apparent in her offerings and recommendation. I have been working at planning several of our family vacations and I just needed someone to make my family vacation happen for me. I gave Carole our specifics about our family, likes and dislikes and said she should take charge of what we should do during our stay. The week prior to arriving we exchanged emails and we began the final plans for our arrival. We had airport pick up arranged by Carole, we arrived at the apartment and was met by the housekeeper and given a tour of the facilities. Then I revealed the weeks itinerary planned by Carole. Everyday I would receive a new or updated plan as Carole watched the weather and made recommendations based on sunny days. Now this in itself is full service but she did all this from the States. We received a day walking tour with guide which added so much to our understanding of what we were seeing and the history Athens provides us! WE LOVE POPI! My daughters talked Greek Mythology, history, barbies, travel, and walked away with a wonderful new friend. Carole was able to put together a wonderful day of Greek cooking in the Apartment with a wonderful pastry chef published in one of Greece's cooking magazines. We shopped in the local farmers market for veggies, bakery for bread, wine shop to top off our dinner, and the store across the street for some of Athens best cheeses. After all our shopping was done we began making the best meal I have ever tasted. Evi, our chef, was able to include our girls and my parents in the whole process. It was nice using the apartment for the class as the girls were able to participate or not at their own pace. My parents were able to relax and enjoyed the show. And finally we enjoyed a glass of wine together with our chef and then ate a magnificent meal we had learned to prepare. Nick our driver also recommended by our hosts, took us on two day trips and was our airport connection. I cannot say enough about how he made sure our family was comfortable and even helped my parents with a little restaurant get away while we played on the beach. When we returned to Ukraine my parents and kids could not stop talking about how wonderful vacation they had! I was a hero, and it was all due to my secret weapon Carole. While in Athens we spoke about her everyday and she was our 7th traveler. Even on the day we were cooking we were sitting at the computer exchanging emails and it felt as if she were cyber cooking with us. It was so much fun, relaxing, and all around the BEST vacation we as a family have taken because the stress of planning and knowing what to do wasn't there. Even our last minute 3 Island tour was a breeze because I didn't have to take care of any of the details. You would be crazy not to stay here and be well cared for by Carole and her friends.
