“A little piece of paradise”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2016

This is an excellent, traditional, cozy, well equipped cottage in a lovely setting with magnificent views. Area is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. We spent a lovely week here with our dog Bella who adored it. Plenty of lovely walks locally enjoying the scenery, visiting other small villages. A short drive away there is more lovely places of interest. Symonds Yat is a must to visit. Great walk along the riverside. Enjoy a lovely afternoon tea at the hotel, or a drink at the pub both overlooking the river. So much to see and do in a lovely part of the country and look forward to settling for the evening in the lovely cottage. Jane, the host is very helpful, gave us lots of advice re the best walks and places to visit. The welcome we received from Jane was really nice, home made cakes, fresh flowers and milk as we arrived. This holiday was perfect for us, we loved it and will surely go back to Robins Barn.

Lovely peaceful location, spectacular views local walks. We took our 2 small dogs and they loved every minute. The hosts live next door and greet you on arrival but after that they are just there if you need them. Everything you could need. In this cosy cottage and the small town of monmouth is just a short drive away for shopping or dining out.
