Modern two bedroom self catering apartment in a complex named Valparaiso just a 5min walk to Burriana beach with communal pool and gardens. Further modernised with the installation of a Fully Functional Kitchen, Replacement Bathroom & Fitted Bedroom Wardrobes, Air Conditioning and in October 2014 a Replacement Tiled Floor throughout have enhanced this desirable property. It has one double bedroom with doors to sun terrace and one bedroom with twin beds (can be pushed together to create a Double Queen Size Bed) and also benefits from a good sized sofa bed in the lounge (with a separate pull out sofa bed) and a separate settee. The Large terrace has 4 sunbeds and table with seating for 4. The terrace can also be part shaded with an over head awning and enjoys tremendous 180deg views of the sea, mountains and surrounding area. The apartment is on the second (top) floor, hence the views and is serviced by a lift and security entry phone system which also makes it ideal for the disabled, and young families with buggies.

An updated Air Conditioning System was installed in November 2011 which has increased the comfort for those renting in either the winter or summer. The Apartment has a Fully Fitted Functional Kitchen which was installed in November 2008 which includes Cooker, Fridge, Washing Machine, Toaster, Microwave and Kettle.
The Lounge has a Flat Screen TV with built in DVD and connection to a Sky Dish giving access to the main UK Channels, there is also an IPOD Dock, the lounge also has doors onto the balcony. There is a 2 seater settee and a sofa bed which converts into 2 single beds.
The Dining Area has a dining table and 4 chairs. Both of the bedrooms have built in wardrobes which were refitted in November 2012 with plenty of hanging space, the main bedroom also has a safe within the wardrobe. The 2nd Bedroom has 2 single beds, although these can be pushed together to create a Queen sized bed if required.
The main bedroom has a double bed with doors onto the balcony.
A new Bathroom was installed in November 2012 with Bath / Shower, Toilet, Sink with Granite Top and plenty of cupboard space for toiletries etc. The window in the bathroom was also changed which allows it to be locked, open or slightly open when tilted.
Finally in October 2014 the floor was retiled throughout giving a very modern, spacious and clean feel to the apartment.

Access to the apartment is secure as the gates to the block and car park are locked.
There is a lift giving easy access both to the underground car park and the apartment which is on the top (2nd) floor.
The apartment has a large balcony. The balcony has a table and 6 chairs and 4 sunbeds, and has a panoramic view of both the sea and mountains.
There is an outdoor pool and a grassed area by the pool in a shared garden.

The Costa del Sol region
It is often said that the province of Malaga is a small continent. Exaggerated and somewhat pretentious as this might sound, there is an element of truth in it. The province of Malaga, although the smallest in Andalusia, measuring 7.272 square kilometres, is indeed a land of contrast.
Mountains, sea, rural villages and sophisticated tourist resorts. The 161 kilometres of Malaga province coastline is mostly beach and hence most of the finest restaurants are within shouting distance of the beaches and the best climate in Europe, it is little wonder that the beach means so much to local residents and tourists alike in Malaga. These are excellent beaches, cleaned every day and with all the services that only a great Spanish beach can offer: bars, restaurants, showers, beach umbrellas, beach beds, palm trees, children’s parks, special access for the disabled, lifeguard services, policing, water sports and much more.
Many of the villages and small towns in the more remote parts of Malaga province were built in places that were difficult to get to, an essential defensive element in days gone by. Being built on the sides of mountains, the streets are generally narrow, winding and steep, and this led to an architectural style that is exclusive to Andalusia. Now, their remote situation and layout makes them ideal for rural tourism.
The strategic location of the Costa del Sol, at the gateway to Africa and occupying a sizeable part of the extreme western Mediterranean coastline, has meant many different civilisations living here, and this in turn has made the region rich in archaeological remains. We can see this in the paintings and objects discovered in the Nerja Cave, dating back 20,000 years, and in the Tesoro Cave in Rincón de la Victoria, and in the interior of the province as well, where megalithic remains in Antequera and other places tell us that we too are passing through.
Nerja lies on the eastern most tip of the Costa Del Sol where the mountains meet the sea. Once a sleepy fishing village, Nerja has retained its Andalucian character, particularly in the old quarter with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses.
The tradition is set to remain thanks to enforced restrictions on development of the town. At the heart of the town is the Balcon de Europa, a palm tree lined promenade built along the edge of a cliff and out to sea with panoramic views of the Mediterranean and Nerja's nine sandy beaches stretching to over 16 kilometres in total. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, many retaining their typical Andalucian charm, plus of course a great variety of international cuisine on offer. Shopping is plentiful and there is a local market every Tuesday.
All major water sports are catered for. Golf is available nearby as are many other sports. There are endless walks as well as the famous Nerja Caves.

“A very nice apartment in a quiet part of Nerja”
This is a very nice, clean and well appointed apartment . It has all the usual facilities and a superb terrace with wonderful views. It is in a quiet part of Nerja and is within easy walking distance of Burriana Beach. We have stayed here twice and would not hesitate to stay again.
