“Wonderfully relaxing”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2015

We loved our stay at 'les tres Fuentes ' the villa is beautiful. The owners really have thought of everything, the views are are incredible around the villa, the pool spotless, we had 4 children in our group and they loved it. Montejaque is lovely, the locals were incredibly friendly, food very good in the square and unbelievably cheap!!!. Ronda is a short drive away and is quite possibly the most beautiful city we have ever been. A MUST SEE! We highly recommend this villa, we had a lovely relaxing chilled holiday....which was much needed, nothing was too much trouble and we can't wait to return . X

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words, I am delighted you enjoyed your stay in our Spanish home and the time you spent in Montejaque and Ronda. We would love to welcome you back.

“Spacious retreat away from it all”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2015

We loved our stay in Montejaque. The villa is enormous and comfortably fits two families of four. It is well equipped, and furnished in a simple and stylish way. Roz the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was Isobel, her representative in the town. Montejaque itself seems a sleepy, quiet place and would be ideal if you want somewhere peaceful and non-touristy, with easy access to busier parts of Andalucia. Having a car is essential, as Montejaque is about 20 minutes drive from Ronda (you could get a cab to the train station down the valley at a push). We would recommend the following local activities: hiking from Montejaque, either towards Ronda or in the other direction, into the hills; a trip to the Caves of Pileta (completely uncommercialised, stunning, with drawings dating back more than 30,000 years); a drive to Zahara de la Sierra, with lunch at the amazing Al Lago and a climb up to the old Moorish castle perched at the top; and, if you're lucky enough to visit at Easter, viewing the incredible Semana Santa (Holy Week) processions. Thank you, Roz!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind comments. I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay in our Spanish home and would love to welcome you all back in the future. Roz

“excellent accommodation in a great setting”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2014

Stayed here with another family, excellent accommodation. Clean , spacious and very well equipped. Five minute walk into village where there were plenty of bars supermarkets and places to order tapas. This was the real Spain , set in the mountains , great location and absolutely loved our holiday with lots to do and plenty of places to visit. Will definitely visit again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. Good to know you all enjoyed your stay, we look forward to seeing you soon. Hasta luego!!

“Total relax in the heart of Spain”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2014

Thank you for making our holiday the family break we all needed. We were made to feel so welcome by the team there, from the welcome basket to helping us out- Isabelle even helped me to print out my boarding cards on the last day when I realised I should have done them! Such great facilities at the property- we stayed in two evenings and barbecued- great to have a fully equipped kitchen, so many properties we've rented in the past didn't even have chopping knives- so great to have all the little things I'd have at home- must say we got our worth out of the washing machine- but lovely to go home with suitcases of clean clothes! Our 5 year old son learnt to swim as was in the pool the whole day, but we also went to ronda for some more cultural outings, interspersed with tapas! Really ,a aged to recharge- Looking forward to returning next year!

Owner's reply: So pleased you all had a good time in our villa and were able to recharge your batteries and we look forward to you welcoming you back next year.

“A beautiful villa!”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2012

We arrived and were greeted at the villa by Isabella who looks after it with Chris. She was very friendly and gave us a guided tour and we immediately fell in love with the villa and felt at home. The welcome hamper of food was very much appreciated and contained all the necessities plus much more. The villa is very spacious, well looked after and has everything you need. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of sunloungers and at all points during the day has both sunny and shady areas. We loved having breakfast in the outdoor eating area and enjoyed many bottles of wine on the roof terrace in the evening. The villa is set in a stunning location with beautiful views in all directions. The village of Montejaque is a short walk from the villa and has a number of small minimarkets that stock an impressive range of fresh fruit, bread and meat at excellent prices. There are plenty of good quality restaurants within the village that provide a variety of styles of eating including tapas, raciones and meals. El Patio soon became a favourite of ours with a huge menu that caters for everyone. We also ate at and enjoyed the hotel restaurant on the square and La Casitas which is hidden away in the backstreets. Montejaque is a quiet village with a lovely, friendly atmosphere. If you are seeking a holiday to unwind and get away from it all this is the perfect place. We would highly recommend staying in this villa. Roz, the owner was very helpful and informative before our holiday and extremely friendly in all our communications. We have a young boy and travelled with friends with two young children, all who had a fantastic time. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be returning in the future.

Owner's reply: Thank you Suzanne, I am delighted you all enjoyed your stay and even more so as you have already booked for next year!

“A perfect home away from home in a stunning location.”

Reviewed 9 Aug 2011

We spent one fantastic week in this gorgeous, large, clean, well appointed villa. The little village of Montejaque was quiet and quaint but still provided necessary services. Great proximity to larger cities Ronda, Seville and we managed day trips to Granada and Cordoba. Beautiful hikes accessible by foot from the villa. The treatment we received from owner Roz and the property manager Cristobel and his daughter was top notch.

Owner's reply: I am glad that you all had a great time and enjoyed your stay in our Spanish home. Thanks for your review.
