Peacefully located only 130 metres from the beach on a small private residential marine estate, which borders on an AONB stretching several miles from Elmer to Littlehampton.

The architect designed holiday house comprises a detached property which can be split into two; one side is the larger main house with 4 bedrooms (one double with king size bed, two twin and one bunk), bathroom, shower room, kitchen ( with doors to front decked area), cloakroom and lounge area with patio doors to the rear decking / patio area.

There is a connecting door through the main lounge area to the completely self contained annex section. This sleeps 4 people, with one ground floor double bedroom with king size bed plus a galleried twin bedroom. There is a further sitting / dining area with patio doors to decking, kitchen area and bathroom on the ground floor.. The property is accessible for the disabled. The garden is secure.

The fairly open plan modern layout and furnishings are designed to give a relaxed atmosphere.

Conveniently located to explore the many attractions of the south coast, including Chichester, with its beautiful cathedral, festival theatre, Goodwood and Fontwell races, historic Arundel with its many antique shops, wonderful castle and Wild Fowl and Wetlands Bird Centre, bustling Brighton with its plentiful seaside activities and entertainment, plus the glorious rolling south downs close by. The area is also great for walking, windsurfing, swimming, sailing and fishing and has quiet unspoilt beaches even at the busiest time of year. Shops and pubs within 1/2 mile.

I can highly recommend this property for a short break or longer stay. The house is well maintained and is very close to the beach. Restaurants and pubs are nearby making this an Ideal place to stay.

“Great holiday once again”

This is our third visit to this great house. My Dad has been here a week and the family have come to stay with him for the odd night. It’s just so relaxing here. The beach is at the end of the road and we have frequented the various nearby pubs, takeaway and restaurants. The village shops have the essentials and there is a Tesco express a short drive away. We love it here. The house has everything we need and as a growing family, we have many different ages to please. The rooms are a good size and we can all fit round the big table in the kitchen making eating together easy. We have booked to come back already!

Owner's reply: We note the contents of your review. However, there were issues with your stay, and clearly our property did not meet the needs for your weekend. It was apparent from your first few moments in the property that you felt it did not meet you needs; and this set the tone for your stay. In no way did we mean to “ruin your weekend”, and the issues, as you said were resolved. We have standards for cleaning etc, and we are happy to deal with issues. The property is located in a residential area, and our neighbours are generally understanding of parties etc We work hard to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay but unfortunately one thing we are unable to do in a weekend is make the property as large as your own.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review the contents of which we note. We have just spent 3 weeks in the property so we are surprised by your comments. There were no chipped glasses, and we said, living next door we were more than happy to deal with any problems you had immediately. It’s a shame you did not raise these with us during your stay. The small microwave in the annex, has small areas of corrosion and has been replaced. The other is stainless steel and cannot be rusty. We would have been more than happy to deal with any issues

How do damage deposits work?

If Michelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
