Description from owner
The Loft apartment has been created from the renovation of the old warehouse of our 14 Century Tuscan manor, the architecture of the place is very striking and we have tried to maintain it's shape in tack by creating only 3 walls which are the confines of the bathroom, hence creating a large 140 meter square open space with amazing beams ceiling features (which are still the originals). It is composed by one double bedroom, large fully fitted kitchen, sitting room with large TV flat screen surround sound, a pool table that doubles up if necessary as a large dinning table, also a large mezzanine which has 1 twin/double room and a room with a king-size bed thus sleeping 5/6 people without touching sofas beds. 2 wc's, complete bathroom with shower.A huge American style fridge that dominates the room. The views from the apartment are spectacular especially at sun set, the 10 windows and 1 skylight that surround the apartment make it very light and cool as the breeze can captured

The views from the apartment are spectacular especially at sun set, the 10 windows and 1 skylight that surround the apartment make it very light and cool as the breeze can captured from any side. The outside of the Magazzini is a typical courtyard dominated by the large well/cistern at it's centre, here one can relax and take it all in, or have a great barbecue day with friends or family. The guests are also allowed to wonder into the historical garden of the manor where a large trampoline is set for the pleasure of the children, also a table football and ping pong are available in the garden to use. The historical garden is used by the owners but there is plenty of space to find privacy, like on the large panoramic terrace of 200 square meters overlooking the valley, great at sun set, the smaller kids love to go and play here with their 2/3/4 wheel vehicles. It is to be noted that a very large 10 x 12 meter pool is for use of the guests and it will be on shared basis with the family that lives the Manor and their friends.
Location description from owner
The Tuscany region
Tuscany is one of Italy's best-loved regions. It combines a beautiful countryside reminiscent of the landscapes of Renaissance masterpieces, a rich artistic heritage including exquisite art and architecture, a glorious history, excellent wines and delicious food.
Set down between the blue-green Apenines and the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea, Tuscany is the joyful heart and soul of the ancient Etruscan civilisation which lives on in every city, town and village.
Florence (Firenze) is the administrative center of Tuscany whose Provinces include Arezzo, Livorno, Grossetto, Lucca, Massa-Carrara, Pisa, Pistaio, Prato and Sienna.
The Region ranks 5th in size in Italy with 22.997 km² and 9th in population with 3.529.000 inhabitants.
Tuscany's towns are among the world's most beautiful:
Florence: Tuscany's capital and Italy's greatest city of art, with its romantic Pontevecchio, its remarkable Duomo (cathedral) with the Baptisery, its Palazzo Vecchio, its Galeria degli Uffizi (paintings), its Galeria dell' Academia (the David of Michelangelo) or its Ponte Vecchio.
Siena:with its unique medieval structure of towers and palaces, its beautiful Piazza del Campo and its famous horse races, the "Palio of Siena"
Pisa: with its famous leaning tower and the piazza Montepulciano and Pienza, both jewels from the renaissance period.
Lucca: with its magnificent fortifications and charming piazzas.
Livorno: Livorno, with its famous harbour
Assisi: with its famous Basilica of Saint Francisco.
San Gimignano: with its towering houses and campanile
Volterra: with its Museo Etrusco Guarnacci , its Palazzo dei Priori (the first palace of Tuscany), its middle ages streets and its famous alabaster workshops
Arrezzo: with its famous Basilica of San Fransesco, painted by Piero della Francesca
Cortona: situated at the top of the hill as an unchanged medieval village
Montecatini: with its famous spas
Forte dei Marmi: with its lovely beaches
The Maremma area: with its vast unspoiled national parks
The local area around the villa is worth a visit especially San Miniato famous for it's white truffle, Terriciola for it's wineries, Vinci being the native town of Leonardo, A little further a field but still within an hours drive are Firenze, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, San Gimignano. The whole of the surrounding area is rich in natural hot water springs such as Casciana Terme, Montecatini terme, Ulivetto Terme, Venturia, Saturnia. There are many very good restaurants to enjoy such as Casa Masi in Montaione, La Greppia in Peccioli, 4 Gigli in Montopoli Val D'Arno. The local fairs and festivals are many and a whole list can be got from the Tuscan regional site, Regione Toscana, a few famous ones are the wild boar in Chianni, Mercanzia which is all for street artists which occupy the whole of Certaldo for 3 days in July, Terriciola for it's wine festival, Lucca with it's music festival where famous international artist come and play, also of note the opera festival at Puccini's native town of Torre del Lago. Tuscany in Autumn is also very interesting as it's the wine harvest in September and the olive harvest in November, hunting season starts, and with the first rains the porcini mushrooms start being found, and also with truffles beginning to be found makes this period the most exciting for the taste buds. The days at this time of the year are so clear that on a sunny day one can see the snow peaks of the Appenine chain from the villa. Tuscany and our local area has a lot to offer during most of the year.
