From the owner

The gardens surround these five private cottages (sleeping 19 guests in total), which are in a wonderful and safe place for children to play and explore. Each cottage is unique with it's own characteristics from different periods from history. All 5 cottages are at one location, so I'd eal for large family and friend groups who want their own space Each family group in the party of 19 guests would have their own private living rooms and kitchens etc. The Hall is the largest cottage and has an open plan living room/dining room which large family groups use to congregate in for drinks etc. The size would not be suitable for 19 people to have a sit down meal. Please see different group sizes below. (NOT ALL COTTAGES MAY BE AVAILABLE, PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE TO FIND OUT GROUPS SIZES STILL AVAILABLE). There are many species of birds and animals living in the grounds with a variety of plants and trees. There are walks with spectacular views around every corner. Get away from it all and relax in the pe. ace and tranquility of The Hall and gardens.The bedrooms have wonderful views of the garden and Dyfi Valley. Minutes away from the local market town of Machynlleth this is an interesting historic town which has many places of interest places, with a market on Wednesday.The Pool Cottage sleeps 4 , one twin, one double, The Grove has one twin and one double. The Hall, has one double, one twin and one single room. The Farmhouse has one double and one twin room and finally The Gallery has one double balcony bedroom. The location has access to great areas in Wales, gardens nice, the parking is very tight and difficult and not signposted or allocated for our rental, the property was clean, furnished with items that… More

Owner's reply:
This reviewer should not be taken seriously, they originally booked through Airbnb. They left marks and stains around the kitchen, 18 plates disappeared and they left the rubbish for us to take out and recycle. They said they felt entitled after paying what they thought was a lot? I felt other hosts should be warned.

Surroundings were great beautiful gardens but cottages need some TLC not as nice as the cover photo cottages were very musky smelling showers not very good furniture really needs changing

Thank you for the feedback, consider a private message next time as it would always be taken seriously. Cottages have been updated and the smell removed. Some of the furniture is antique and for these guests was not very good, but for everyone who knows what they are, appreciate them.

How do damage deposits work?

If Daniel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
