This luxury top floor penthouse apartment (3rd floor reached by lift) in la cala is fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard,it has aircon,32"flat screen TV with full Sky Package (including sports,films etc), dvd,hi fi system and Free Wi-Fi . Fully fitted kitchen with w/machine,dishwasher,f/freezer,microwave etc.The property is on one level and comprises of master bedroom with en-suite including shower and jacuzzi bath. 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and shower -room. Sitting/dining room has seating for 6 and leads out onto the terrace which has stunning sea views (south facing) which has table and 4 chairs,2 sunlounges and a BBQ. The complex has 2 adult pools, 2 kiddy pools and a kiddy play area set within attractive gardens. The very popular La Cala Village is only a few minutes walk away where you will find bars,restaurants,shops,banks and all the amenities you could require. There is a good bus service 400m from the apartment which will take you to the popular towns

The Costa del Sol region
The region is famous for its 320 days of sunshine each year and with its many blue flag beaches and its many golf courses makes it an ideal holiday destination.
A wide variety of places are in easy reach from the apartment by local transport such as Marbella 12km .Puerto Banus 20km Fuengirola 10km,Benalmadena 15km to name but a few.
There a number of various restaurants to suit everyones taste in the local vicinity along with bars and night clubs.
There are shopping malls within 10 minutes of the apartment as well as local shops to suit all budgets.
Costal del sol is perfect choice for an enjoyable holiday experience for all the family.
La Cala de Mijas
The town of La Cala is a small coastal town which was originally a fishing village, its houses are in the main white, and the street lined with palm trees. It has a long clean beach (blue flag) which has received awards for enviromental, sanitary and safety standards. It is amongst the best in the costa del sol and a sought after destination. There are at least 10 golf courses within a 10 min drive from the apartment and 1within a 5 min walk. A 5 min drive from the apartment is the Hippodroma race track which is a great day out for families and punters alike,as well as horseracing it has restaurants, bars and various entertainment. Within 10 mins of the apartment is the nearby town of Fuengirola which boasts a fantastic water park,zoo,castle,shops and a nightlife to cover all ages. If you want to travel 5 mins further to the town of Benalmadena which has the likes of its famous marina, Tivoli world theme park, sealife aquarium and the famous Costa del sol cable car. Also 15 mins the oppsite way from the apartment is Marbella with all its shops, restaurants,etc. There is also a market at la cala every wed and sat which is well worth a visit.

“Fantastic Apartment. Spotlessly clean. Very convenient to all amenities!”
We have been holidaying in La Cala for the last 8 years in various rental apartments but this one tops them all! The location is perfect for walking to the beach or into La Cala itself for dinner or drinks. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby and there is a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays 5 mins walk away. Despite all the amenities close by the apartment and complex was very peaceful and well maintained. Our son loved the swimming pool. We also liked the underground parking and 24hr security. As for the apartment itself it had everything you could possibly want or need and was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. The balcony is superb and we spent a number of evenings enjoying the view and making use of the bbq. Mick and Sue were very helpful and we have already rebooked for 2017.
“Lovely apartment, great location.”
This was our 3rd stay in La Cala, but our 1st at Casa Azul. Mick & Sue's apartment was perfect for our needs. It has everything you need to make your holiday a pleasurable experience. If you enjoy a home from home type of holiday, the apartment has everything you could need. The Lidl supermarket next to the complex, and other supermarkets and shops close by, make it perfect for a self-catering break. On the other side of the complex there is a good selection of bars and restaurants so you can eat and drink out without having to venture too far. The centre of La Cala has a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants, and is an easy 10min stroll from the apartment. The seafront and beach is also a short walk away. We were already fans of La Cala, but staying at this apartment made this holiday our most enjoyable yet. We will be returning and look forward to staying in Mick & Sue's lovely apartment again.
what a wonderful apartment, this was our second stay at mick& sues place it is fully equipped and a home from home. the balcony has a lovely sea view and perfect for a bar-b-que. great location close to some good restaurants and friendly bars. the gardens and pool area are kept very clean and tidy. will be booking a third stay soon.
“What a place! Beyond expectations.”
We stayed in this apartment for 11 nights. We all felt very comfortable here, like a home from home. The apartment is well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. The owners and agent in resort could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment has lovely views from the well furnished balcony and we often used the large barbecue to cook in the evening. The pool area is a delight and the photographs don't do it justice. It is about 15 minute walk to the main village centre and beach, however there are bars, restaurants and shops just minutes away. You can access a beach within about 8 minutes of leaving the apartment. There is a twice weekly market selling a variety of things and lots of nice fresh produce, well worth a visit and only about a 10 minute walk. All in all this is an excellent holiday home in a fantastic position and I would highly recommend it. My damages deposit was returned, in full, very quickly after my return.
We have just come back from our fifth visit to Mick and Sue's apartment, so that speaks for itself. Everything is so local, shops buses English shop bottom of the road. Two big supermarkets both in waliking distance Plenty of places to eat.There is everything in the apartment which you need. Weather was fantastic. Thank you Mick and Sue for renting us your wonderful apartment, it was brilliant. Everything you could possibly need was there for us. The location is excellent just a 5/10 min walk to the beach and 10/15 minute walk into La Cala. There was plenty of restaurants catering for all tastes and would recommend New China (opposite Biddy Mulligans) and Bombay to Goa (across from Super Sol) both were excellent. I would definately recommend this apartment to family and friends and most certainly will book again in the future. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

This apartment exceeded expectations it was a home from home with all you need and more from a washing machine to a dishwasher.its immaculatly kept with comfortable beds and furniture,loved the sun trapped balcony which has amazing sea views.great location shops bars restaurants great markets and the beach within a short enjoyable walk.great transportation links and very reasonably priced we took a few trips out to fuengirola and to sealife and was easy to do with our 4 year old.the owners were great nothing was to much for them and we have booked already to go next year,a great family getaway would highly recommend.

Just back from another tremendous two week stay in Mick & Sue’s beautiful apartment in La Cala. We have had the pleasure of holidaying here for a number of years and hopefully will continue to do so in the future. The apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay and is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and a lovely beach just ten minutes walk away. “Fabulous Location , Beautiful spacious spotless Apartment”
Absolutely fantastic Holiday, the Apartment was spacious everything you could wish for , has a beautiful Terrace/ balcony which is definately a sun trap with wonderfull views, has great facilities as in washing machine Dishwasher lots of cooking equipment if needed Beds clean and comfortable lovely bathrooms there was only 2 of us we had a bathroom each , a short walk to La Cala town centre with all facilities you need good Supermarket ,lots of lovely restaurants and Bars, not far from the lovely beach , will definately book this Apartment again.
“Excellent, clean and central spacious appartment”
Excellent penthouse appartment - very clean, modern and quiet. Appartment had plenty of everything ie linen, towels, hair dryers, kitchen equipment etc. & sun loungers etc. Stayed last week in April - the sun was on the sun terrace from before mid day to around 8 pm. Within easy walking distance - approx 10 min - to the centre La Cala. 5 Euro by taxi. Plenty of lovely reasonably priced restaurants. I liked the resort very much as everywhere was clean, well kept and plent of seating around. Appartment manager was very nice and helpful - explained everything and suggested places to go and restaurants. Information booklet in appartment helpful.
