Description

Church Farm Cottage is a peaceful and relaxed hideaway - the perfect place to 'get away from it all'. Originally a stable and hayloft, it stands on one side of the farm courtyard opposite a 17th century barn. Now beautifully converted, it has one double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, sitting room and small walled garden making it the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of Church Farm and it's stunning landscape.

Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Kington Langley, which boasts a village green and duck pond, guests can enjoy the gentle pace of village life. Bath is 12 miles away and we're a short drive to the delightful villages and towns of Lacock, Castle Coombe, Corsham and Bradford on Avon. We're ideally placed for exploring The Cotswolds, Salisbury, Tetbury and many private and National Trust properties such as Bowood and Dyrham Park.

This newly refurbished, quintessentially English country cottage is ready to welcome guests for weekly lets at £460 per week,generally running from Saturday to Saturday based on two guests sharing. Shorter stays of a minimum of 4 days are available.

House rules

We hope that you will leave our Church Farm Cottage in the clean and tidy state that you find it in- obviously we will take care of the laundry, towels and bedding but any damages must be paid for. We do not allow other guests to stay without prior arrangement- and there would be a surcharge. Parties are not allowed- the cottage has sleeping arrangements for two adults plus unto a couple of children/guests on fold out beds- and by prior arrangement only.

The Cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were very impressed with the location a nice quite place but very close to the train. We enjoyed the court yard and walking around the property. We took the train into Bath only a 15 minute ride and it sure beat driving. apart from an excellent place to stay the host Kate was exceptional the people we were to visit with had a medical emergence and we had to find a place at the last minute Kate went on line and found a place and phoned the landlady to confirm everything. If your going to Bath or looking for accommodation you wont go wrong staying at Church Farm Cottage we had an excellent stay with an excellent host Olena and Wayne

The weather was very cold for our stay, but the cottage was warm and comfortable. Kate and Will were very friendly hosts and made our short stay very pleasurable. We will certainly return.

“Delightful idyll”

Inbetween Chippenham and the M4 far enough away yet near enough to be handy. Very quiet pretty village. Easy access to Church Farm. Not a working farm any more, but a beautiful renovated home and business. Friendly welcome from Kate and Will. The cottage has been comfortably furbished, including a small seperate kitchen, dining area and sitting room with patio doors leading onto a tiny and very pretty walled garden, on the ground floor. Upstairs a stunning bedroom with four poster bed and a simple bathroom. Everything we needed for our week stay was present and correct. On the last weekend of our stay Church farm hosted a wedding reception in one of the fields behind the farm, we didn't hear or see anything, except if we opened the bathroom window we could hear the music... simple solution- we shut the window!! We would love to retun some time.
