It took over a year of searching and waiting for the right corner unit to come on the market, finally this condo filled the bill-- 2 blocks from Main Street; within 1 ½ blocks of 4 different free shuttle lines, and walking distance to the River Run Gondola. It is located just off the corner of River Road on Second Avenue.
After the purchase it took almost a year to remodel--removing some walls, moving others in order to have an open floor plan. A major goal was creating an alcove for the bed, so that you don't see it from every angle in the room. We selected and installed totally new: bathroom, flooring, storage bed with queen size mattress, ceramic range/oven, and microwave--finishing in October, 2011.
