“Nice apartment near city center”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2016

Location is very close to city center. Only 10 to 15 min walk to Inverness Train Station and shopping area. And there is a Tesco within 5 min walk. The apartment was well maintained and all the necessary amenities were there. We especially like the fully equipped kitchen because we were doing some cooking. Car needs to be parked on the side of Tomnarhurich Street with a provided parking permit. The street traffic was a bit busy but it was not difficult to find a vacant slot.

“Charmant appartement”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2015

“Great location and 'homely' feel!”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2015

We were a group of 4 adults (2 mothers and their late 20's daughters), stayed in this delightful accomodation for just under a week. Firstly the location was perfect - very close to the local supermarket, and only a few minutes walk to the river and town centre. This made it very easy to get around that we didnt even take the car out often! Instructions on how to get there and make our stay more enjoyable was very informative and easy to follow with the security deposit being returned very promptly. The Loft was comfortable, very clean, and had a very 'homely' feel! Only one recommendation would be to possible have a softer topper on the single beds as it was a bit hard for our liking - but each to their own :) We would definitely recommend booking this for your trip. Thanks for a great stay!

“Charming, well-located, cozy holiday stay”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2015

Our group consisted of 4 adults ranging in age from mid- thirties to a seventy- one year old. The Loft was in walking distance of great eating places, supermarkets and all kinds of shopping. The apartment itself was spacious, clean with a complete well -equipped kitchen, which was much appreciated as one in the group is vegan and two are vegetarian so we were able to easily cook and eat in at times. We all decided that we would be happy to stay at the Loft again.

“Simply superb!!”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2014

The Loft was a fully contained, cosy retreat for us - a home away from home really. The loft conversion has been done very space efficiently and tastefully. The place was very neat and tidy with crisp & clean bed linens and towels, there were spare ones too (just in case). We enjoyed watching a couple of movies from the DVD collection there. The kitchen had everything a family would need - like utensils, crockery, cutlery, salt, sugar, tea, coffee, oil, oven foil etc.....very helpful. Definitely maintained by a thoughtful and considerate person. The Loft certainly had a homely touch and was very convenient for us as it was situated very close the City Centre, Super store and local shops. Communicating with the owner was very easy as she was very responsive. The instruction booklet she had kept in the house was very useful, shows how organised a person she is. On the whole, out stay at the Loft was fantastic.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed your time at The Loft and felt at home there - it's exactly what we hope for in your stay.

“Great little place to stay in a lovely City”

Reviewed 2 Dec 2013

My wife and I live on the Isle of Eigg and had to move to the mainland for a month in order to give birth to our first child. We had a fantastic first two weeks in the loft which is clean, in a great location and has two bedrooms. Our daughter was born on 4 November and we stayed in the loft for a further week. This little flat feels spacious for its size and we were quite happy during our stay.

James, Thank you for your review - great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We were delighted to hear about your little girls birth. Anyone else in the same situation is more than welcome to stay at The Loft.

“Great location, great flat, very impressed.”

Reviewed 12 Oct 2013

As a one child(4) family a hotel room is not an option therefore a location which is central, and with 2 bedrooms and facilities that suit a 4 year is our priority. We were delighted on arrival with the quality of the Loft, it is really well furnished, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge is cosy and even had some games and DVDs for our use which was a welcome change to our well worn selection. It's within walking distance of the city centre even for a 4 year old. To sum up, if you are looking for 2 bedrooms, a well equipped self catering kitchen, somewhere clean and we'll looked after and a central location for Inverness.....look no further.

“Lovely, welcoming and comfortable home a short walk from central Inverness”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2013

This was a great place for us two couples to stay over the marathon weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we had a few breakfasts and dinners around the table. The lounge was cosy, and the two bedrooms comfortable. Our first night was noisy due to some happy neighbours, but we understand this was a one-off and it was mostly quiet the rest of our stay. The owners were very helpful.

“Great location”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2013

The apartment is an easy walk from the train station on a major street. Our family of 4 enjoyed the room available with an apartment. No internet but we enjoyed being disconnected (except the teenagers which was good for them). The kitchen facilities are good, but you are the dishwasher. Clothes washing machine provided but no dryer. However, drying rack and fan are provided. Grocery store is 1 block away (Tesco Metro). Many bars and restaurants within a short walk inlcuding Urquhart Restaurant which is excellent! It is a couple of blocks from The Loft. in summary, it is a clean and comfortable with a great location. We are Americans, but you must understand that you are in Europe and things are different! Definitely would stay there again!!!!
