*** INSIDE THE APARTMENT ***
The roof terrace has a table and chairs, perfect for breakfast in the morning sunshine, as well as two sun loungers. There is a large parasol to cover the terrace during the day and two lights for when you want to relax outside in the evening.
The reception room has a dining table with 6 chairs. There are two comfortable settees for relaxing in with a large flat-screen TV. A selection of DVD and Blu-ray films in several languages are available for entertainment in addition to numerous digital TV channels. The apartment has a fast fibre wi-fi internet.
All windows have external shutters that are perfect for lie-ins. The master bedroom has a double bed and a full en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two single beds.
The fully fitted kitchen should cater for the needs of most chefs. Cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper are provided and a large supermarket is a short walk away.
The apartment complies with all safety regulations and includes a first aid kit, smoke alarm and fire extinguisher. If there are any issues with the apartment, we fix them as soon as possible, and on the same day if possible - we pride ourselves on giving you a particularly memorable holiday for the right reasons!
*** THE APARTMENT COMPLEX AND SWIMMING POOL ***
The apartment has a dedicated parking space in the garage underneath the complex. The lift from the garage takes you straight to the front door of the apartment without steps, making it suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The complex has a 25 metre swimming pool (open June to September), which previous guests describe as the cleanest and best they has used. The pool has underwater lights for swimming after dark, which is an amazing experience!
All of the apartments in the complex are privately-owned, mostly by wealthier Spanish people as beachside retreats, and the communal areas are very clean and well looked after.
The apartment overlooks the promenade and a large beach, which always has lots of space and is considered by many locals as the best for swimming in Roquetas de Mar. The port and the town centre are a short walk from the apartment and have numerous bars, restaurants, shops and other facilities.
*** IS THIS APARTMENT FOR YOU? ***
The apartment is very popular with families during the peak summer season.
Outside of peak times, we've found retired guests really love the views, easy access to the apartment and town, and the comfortable lifestyle in the apartment. It's also popular with couples looking for a week away and those with babies - we will supply a travel cot if required at no extra cost.
Those looking for a party would be better located near the nightclubs in Aguadulce, which is 5 km away.
The apartment is well-suited to three adults or a family with up to two children, but we think it is a little small for more than three adults.
*** LICENSING ***
All short-term rental properties in Andalucia must be registered with the regional government. Properties must meet high standards - with cooling and heating for summer and winter, sheets and towels, safety equipment, information about appliances, etc.
If you want to rent an apartment for a period of less than 2 months then make sure it has been registered. All apartments are required to display the license number - ours is VFT/AL/02130. Otherwise, you'll be at risk of the regional government cancelling your holiday or even evicting you while you are there.
