La casa di Renzo is the name we gave to the building after its renovation completed in 2011.
Renzo was my grandfather, Doc and Martigiano great sportsman who lived in this House with my grandmother Marcellina and his entire family, including my father up in the early 60. Even before there were the great-grandparents Abraham and Argentina and before them my trisnonni.
During the 40/45 war, the building was mined and blown up but fortunately some triggers are not worked and collapsed only the corner place Southeast that led behind the 40% of the roof. Unfortunately for lack of funds covering was partly rebuilt and was created a large terrace that still characterizes the old House, the one in the Centre of the village not to be completely covered by the roof. While the first floor was my family, the final plan was intended to House displaced workers and acogliendo and later to work, then again at home for the family to use the building until moving to Livorno. The House was then rented and in 2009, after the transfer of the tenant's family who lived there for about 40 years, was restored completely back to a second youth. The current status is a residence that was cut to form the portions which can be used independently but at the same time maintain and be able to use the unit according to the needs, however, to maintain and enhance both the Interior and exterior of the building especially, choosing in accordance with municipal offices in the colours of the façades and the greys of bozzature. The asymmetric design of the eaves and the design of the beams of the roof gutter was perfectly reproduced from the original, as well as the features that make lion heads from the Crown to the balcony support.
