From the owner

With an overview of the small islands of “Virgin Mary” and “Agios Nicolaos”, supported by the magnificent background of the dominating mountains of Epirus, one can encounter the private villa “Terra Del Nonno”. This magnificent seafront property, standing on a headland close to Gaios Port and the main town, commands stunning ocean vistas from all angles. It is situated only 15 minute stroll from the main square of Gaios, along the natural channel of Gaios port and hosts up to 6 people. The interior of the house is delightfully decorated, with a blend of calm neutral shades highlighted by bold splashes of colour. A ground floor double bedroom leads off the fully equipped kitchen and the main living room, and twin beds are situated in an alcove, with a folding screen that gives reasonable privacy when fully extended. In the bathroom, you can enjoy your whirlpool bath. Moreover, out to your garden gate, there is your personal wooden dining table and your bamboo furniture, where you can enjoy your coffee with a view of the Ionian Sea, the island of Virgin Mary and the mountains of Epirus. On first floor level, a double bedroom with its own fully equipped kitchen opens onto a private verandah, where glass panels enable wonderful views (of the Ionian Sea and the island of Virgin Mary) whether sipping a glass of something cold or a mid morning coffee.

The exterior area consists of a garden with several terraces and lush 1 acre. In the same area there is a swimming pool (separate for adults and children) with a very broad space for sun loungers, umbrellas and tables for 2 seats. The pool has the new “overflow system”, which means that the bather does not lose not even the least of the breathtaking view to the sea-this is also the reason why one has the feeling that swims in the sea.

• Outside: Lower and upper terraces, equiped with dinning and sitting furniture

Please note: As a courtesy to guests, we mention the property manager (Anny) lives in an adjacent house, accessed via an independent entrance. She does not use any of the house facilities and fully respects your privacy (please check the reviews of previous guests).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Eleni (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
