Description from owner


This beautiful, marble floored apartment first became available to rent in August 2014 and has proved to be a big hit with all the guests that have stayed in it so far. The apartment is located just a short distance from the train station, local bus services and all amenities. Fabulous, sunny, community pool which has just been refurbished. The AstroTurf is pleasant underfoot and the addition of benches and some nice flower planters make the area even better than before! The apartment is in a secure, quiet, residential block, with a lift and has sea views.

I highly recommend using the train direct from Malaga airport to Torreblanca station for your arrival and departure and I offer a FREE collection and drop off service, should you wish to travel in this way. For any flights that are too late or too early for the train, I offer an airport service at a very reasonable rate. If you would like any further information regarding this service or would like to know the train timetable, just get in touch, I'm happy to answer any inquiries.

If you decide to hire a car, there are parking spaces in front of the apartment block.

The bedroom has a double bed, air conditioning, bedside lamps, hairdryer, fitted wardrobes and drawers. An iron, ironing board and washing hanger are all provided and there is a safe.

The fully equipped, American style kitchen has an oven, hob, extractor, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, cafetiere, brand new washing machine and a wonderful built in breakfast bar. The lounge is air conditioned, has a comfortable sofa, bar stools for the breakfast bar, 32 inch TV, English TV channels (many with Catch Up available), DVD player, CD/Radio/Cassette player and coffee table. I have just upgraded the internet to Fiber Optics - so you will benefit from great, free WiFi of up to 50Mbps. The lounge leads out on to the patio with seating for 4 and 2 sun loungers and deck chairs are also provided.

If you're looking for some home comforts - very close by there are some great English owned bars, that all serve food, have WiFi and show all the sports and even the soaps!

There is a fabulous Spanish supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away that provides one of the most extensive and good value range of English products in this area. A short walk of around 600 meters takes you to the beach and many Spanish and International bars and restaurants ensuring that a wide variety of tastes and cuisines are catered for.

The bathroom has a shower/bath, WC, sink and bidet.

The local council have just created a lovely little recreation area with mature Olive trees benches and even has some exercise machines for anyone keen on keep fit! It makes a nice little stop off on the way back to the apartment.

Getting around

There are lots of places where you can book site seeing trips and there is information about these in the apartment. The buses and trains are really excellent and make it easy for you to plan your own trips. Have a look at The Camino Del Rey - The King's Walk - on line. If you don't mind heights this is an experience not to be missed and can be reached by train from my apartment.

Interaction with guest

I am always available if you need me or just want some extra information. If you have any problems during your stay, just let me know and I will do everything I can to resolve them as quickly as possible. You are advised to carry photocopies of your passports in case something happens to the original. I would also strongly recommend that anyone holding a valid EH1C, also carries a photocopy of that AND your passport together on the same page. This is necessary if you need to see a doctor through the Spanish state system. If you do, whenever possible I will take you there and translate for you.

Very Good

“Perfect apartment in good location”

We have just returned home from a fantastic holiday in this lovely apartment. It was so well equipped with every detail you could ask for to make your stay so comfortable, also spotlessly clean.The balcony had morning sun until early afternoon and was so quiet and private which suited us. From start to finish Barbara was so helpful and even came downstairs with us to make sure our taxi arrived. We hope to return in the future. Thanks again Barbara.

“Fantastic apartment, host and area”

We first stayed in this apartment in Torreblanca in 2016 and I can't believe we waited this long to go back. The apartment is in a great location (can access loads of areas via the train), spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything you would need. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is excellent brilliant for getting off the suntan lotion. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need should you choose to cook (we love to cook). Good shutters on the windows to help keep the apartment nice and cool. The balcony is well equipped with table, chairs and sun loungers (these you can take down to the brilliant pool area). The pool area is excellent with astro turf and lovely planting and seating. However the best thing about this apartment is Barbara the owner, nothing is a bother to her. She provides a great welcome and a pick up service from the train station and also got us some supplies in for our first night. We can't wait to go back again soon.

Back again for our 5th stay at this excellent apartment. Barbara has made several improvements which were brilliant. Lovely new comfy sofa, even faster wi-fi, and a fab new washing machine. All these little things make it so much more like home (with sunshine of course, talking of which, love the newly revamped swimming pool area).Thank you Barbara

La estancia ha sido estupenda,al apartamento no le falta de nada,y Bárbara es un encanto, la playa está muy cerquita se puede ir andando en 10 minutos y hay varios super al lado también. En general lo recomendamos sin lugar a dudas.

“4th stay”

This was our fourth time staying in this fabulous apartment for a long winter break. Barbara was waiting for us at the train station as usual, and had shopping in, due to our late arrival time. The apartment was spotless as always, with some new additions, including upgraded Wi-Fi, and catch-up TV, also lots of laminated information cards for the area and public transport. My husband was a bit unwell while we were there, but a quick text to Barbara, and she arranged to take us to the local clinic. She picked us up, took us to the clinic, where she acted as translator for my husband, then took us to the pharmacy for the prescription. All done and back in the apartment within an hour. What a service, thank you Barbara. Already looking forward to our stay later in the year.

“Ideal for a quiet holiday”

The apartment is located near to Torreblanca railway station where trains run every 20 minutes to local resorts, airport and Malaga city. The resort of Fuengirola takes 5 minutes on the train. There are local bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The nearest beach front is a 10 minute walk which includes crossing a main road. The apartment has a lift but is not suitable for wheelchair users due the incline of the hill, though there is an excellent taxi service which would ease the short climb. We sunbathed by the pool on a couple of occasions and found it to be very clean and well looked after. Barbara the owner had went into great detail to ensure our 3 week stay was memorable, the apartment had everything we needed, we had a great relaxing holiday staying at the Las Yucas apartments. Thanks again Barbara for giving us the opportunity to stay in your apartment. Magic.

“second stay”

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. It is lovely - very comfortable and like a home from home. It is obvious that Babbs is 100% committed to ensuring that her guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay as nothing is left to chance - she has thought of everything. There are full operating instructions for all appliances (television, air con, washer etc) which is very useful. The location is perfect, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

“Brilliant 8 week stay”

Third time staying in this fabulous apartment, its just like our second home. Barbara, as ever so helpful picking us up at the station, and even had shopping in for us, due to our late flight time. Unfortunately we had a few stormy days during our stay, but not a problem, as there is british tv, dvd and cd players, books etc all in the apartment. There is also a great pizza takeaway, and a fish and chip shop round the corner, so everything available for a cozy night in. The rest of the time weather was brilliant, so got to enjoy the sunny balcony as usual. Whats not to like. Thank you again Barbara
