Our beautiful ground floor apartment is located in Platges de Fornells Menorca. The spacious open plan living/dining area has French doors leading onto a balcony that has amazing views out to sea, here you can enjoy soft music on the Bose soundock mounted in the living area and let time fly by or catch up with friends and relatives using our free WiFi (May-Sept). In the living area there is a smart TV where you can access Netflix or YouTube even some Spanish television. The lounge links to the well equipped Kitchen with fridge freezer, cooker with gas hob. Well equipped with pans(inc a Paellera, cutlery, glasses, sandwich maker. There is also a terrace so you can find sun or shade according to your preference, the side terrace gains sunshine throughout the day. Both bedrooms have amazing sea views to wake to in the morning.The apartment is in a traditional Menorcan style which we consider a home from home, an ideal location to recharge your batteries.The Sea is just a few minutes walk in front of the apartment and the beach is a little further down the road. There are a few Restaurants a short walk away and the nearest one 3-4 minute walk is "Okapi" which is rated in the top 5 restaurants in Fornells area according to Trip Advisor. Along with supermarkets & restaurant owned pools where you can swim if you are enjoying their facilities. If you have children there is a mini waterpark with slides next to the supermarket at the beach (small charge applies) A short drive away is the famous harbour at Fornells and a chance to enjoy varying cuisines at the fine restaurants, you may even spot the King of Spain who occasionally moors his Yacht in the harbour to enjoy a meal in his favourite restaurant. This lovely fishing village also offers a wonderful up market shopping experience in its fine shops. Enjoy walks along the unspoilt coastal paths, discover coves all along the Northern Menorcan coastline.Banks and ATM's available in Fornells and Es Mercadal. Internet and WiFi facilities offered by Bars and restaurants nearby including Okapi restaurant mentioned above. Sailing and wind surfing at Ses Salines and Fornells. Diving centres in Playas de Fornells and Fornells itself. Coastal and rural walks - the Cami de Cavalls have now been opened up all around the island. Spring and late summer is an excellent time for 'twitchers' to see migratory birds. Fascinating archeological sites abound, often with free entry at weekends. The 'tourist board' issues weekly events sheets - find street markets, fiestas, concerts, jazz, theatre, art galleries etc - always plenty going on.We can offer additional items should you wish :-Cot with linen €25 p/wFood pack inc Milk, Bread, butter, jam, coffee, water & fruit juice €20. Please let us know should you need any of the above upon booking. The apartment is available from 2pm on the day of arrival & the apartment needs to be vacated by 10am on your departure day.

The area of Fornells season generally starts in May and closes down in November, January to March can get cold and wet so please bear this in mind when booking. During low season the supermarkets are open in Mercadel (5 minute drive) and a small number of restaurants are open in Fornells Harbour area or further away in Mahon, Ciutadella. This can be a beautiful time to visit Menorca while the temperature is cooler and the plants and flowers are in bloom.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stuart (the owner) a message.

If Stuart (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
