Property for exclusive use

Typical stone farmhouse, 500 sq. m., with 8 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, comfortably hosting up to 16 persons. The villa has wide open spaces, a private pool, a furnished area for outdoor lunches, WiFi, satellite TV, a/c in the bedrooms on the first floor, and is the perfect solution for group holidays with friends or relatives, as well as for family events.

Outdoors and Swimming Pool

The large space surrounding the house is perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday, whilst the kids are free to play in the garden. The house has a large, welcoming garden with tall trees creating shaded areas. Here you will also find the private swimming pool, slightly underneath the house, which is 6 metres by 12 with a depth of 1.2-2.2 metres, available from 9am to 7pm, externally paved and complete with sunbeds, beach umbrellas and a shower with cold water. Guests can also use a paved portico to the side of the house with wrought-iron benches for pleasant relaxing moments. There is also a stonework barbecue in a corner of the garden, perfect for outdoor lunches. Parking within the property.

Interior

Villa Donatella dates back to 1629 and was originally a farmer’s house with stables on the ground floor, until the late 90s when the owners restructured the property, whilst maintaining most of the original cotto tile/Firenzuola pietra serena, wood beams and the original stone sink. The bedrooms have a antique, farm style typical of the late 1800s. The house is on two floors. The ground floor has two large living rooms with satellite TV, sofas and armchairs, divided by stone arches, with two fireplaces, one of which is very large and includes a wood-burning stove. Next to this, guests will find the dining room, a reading room, a table football room, the large, fully equipped kitchen and a small bathroom. Also on the ground floor, with also outdoor access, there is a bedroom with two beds with bathroom with shower (via a small staircase). On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a canopy bed and bathroom with bathtub, a double bedroom with bathroom with shower, 3 bedrooms each with two beds and 2 double bedrooms which share the remaining 3 bathrooms with shower, at the end of the corridor.

The farmhouse is in a panoramic, peaceful position in the green Mugello hills, north of Florence.

The house has central heating, a/c in the bedrooms on the first floor, a baby bed, WiFi and parking.

Services

The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), electricity, water, final cleaning, internet and baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for at the property are: hired help, a cook, cookery courses, babysitter, high chair hire and swimming towels. You can also buy genuine vegetables from the garden, seasonal fruit, extra virgin olive oil, jams, honey, nuts and wine, as well as taste the typical dishes of the Mugello area.

Swimming pool open from May 1st to September 30th. Check-in from 3-7pm. Access to the property via 2km of gravel road which also go through the woods. Small animals are permitted. A guarantee credit card is mandatory requested at the arrival. A charging point for electric cars may be requested (at a fee). For private events a minimum stay of 3 nights is required.

-Refundable deposit (to be handed over on arrival) per booking in cash: 600,00 EUR

-Tourist tax per person/day: 1,50 EUR

-Final cleaning per booking in cash: 300,00 EUR
