Jasmine Cottage is a beautiful 18th century bungalow in the heart of Eamont Bridge. Situated within a 15 minute walk of Penrith, attractions such as King Arthur's Round Table and Mayburgh Henge, as well as two pubs, are on your doorstep. A short drive takes you to the Ullswater valley and all the attraction of the Lake District, or head east and explore the more secluded Eden Valley.
Recently restored, Jasmine Cottage features two bedrooms (1x King, 2x Single), an airy and spacious living/kitchen area and a large shower. There's a sink to wash your boots in outside, a garden front and rear and a cosy feeling of home throughout this compact hideaway.
Unwind watching the large smart TV or using our complementary WiFi, or draw the curtains and settle into the comfy sofas with a good book. Use as base for exploring on bicycle or foot, or for trips out into the beautiful Cumbrian landscapes. Jasmine Cottage is an ideal retreat for those wanting a taste of local life.

“Would definitely come back and recommend!”
Myself and my partner booked to come here as it was close and convenient for Trek26 in Penrith that we took part in. Amazing cottage, very very clean, modern and equipped with everything that’s needed to make it feel like home. The beds were comfortable and the shower was superb. There is a pub right opposite the cottage (The Beehive) which was also lovely and welcoming and convenient if you didn’t want to cook! The box of chocolate and Prosecco was an added treat when we arrived (which we thoroughly enjoyed after walking 26 miles around Ullswater Lake). Thank you Andrew for a pleasurable stay, would definitely recommend to friends and family and we’re already finding a date to come back!

“Spot in and we will come back”
Lovely refurbished cottage with everything you need. Done to a high standard. We are a family of four with two teens and there was loads of space. Small village with two pubs a stones throw away. Access to shops in Penrith via A66 just five minutes away. Nice back route to Pooley Bridge via B road. Popped into The Crown to acknowledge the landlord allowing use of car park. Have already recommended to family and friends. We will be booking in late September to celebrate s birthday. Our three days away was to chill the kids before exams start and it did the job entirely. Lovely place.

- How do damage deposits work?
In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

- How do I edit my booking?
You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Andrew (the owner) a message.
If Andrew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
