My apartment is one of a kind. It has a beautiful garden, exclusive, just a few steps from the Duomo and Piazza Santa Croce. It overlooks Ciompi square, the old flea market, full of elegant shops.
The accommodation is comfortable because it has an exclusive 150 square meter garden, where you can stay for meals or rest. The house can accommodate groups of 4 people (1 double and 2 singles).
The apartment is located in the famous square called the Loggia dei Pesci, full of antique shops, and nearby there are shopping centers and the famous Sant'ambrogio market.
The loggia of the fish recreates the forms that were already own one for the sale of fish, originally located on the western side of the Old Market (ie in later destroyed where it is now Piazza della Repubblica), erected by Giorgio Vasari between August of 1568 and September of 1569. in 1699 this old lodge was increased by an arch on each side by Cosimo III and expense of the Grascia Magistrate, who supervised the sale of staple food in Florence. In 1899, during the demolition of the area, efforts were made to recover the best preserved parts of the structure, in view of its reconstruction, parts that, thanks to Guido Carocci, were deposited at the Museum of San Marco. The reconstruction was implemented only in 1955 in Piazza dei Ciompi, for the Committee initiative for the city aesthetics, under the direction of Giulio Cesare Lensi Orlandi Cardini, thanks to a grant from the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and in the context a project in which we assumed to reposition Hence the column of Abundance.
